Once upon a time, a lion lived in a very large forest. The lion gathered all the animals one day and said: "I am the strongest animal in this forest."

3
Some animals among them objected to this sentence. The peacock said: "No, beauty means power and I am the most beautiful, so I am the strongest. No one's feather in this forest is as shiny as mine

4
The fox said: "I am the strongest because I am the most cunning of you and I can make all of you do what I want."

5
The eagle said: "You all live on the ground, you cannot reach the sky. Where you look with your eyes, I fly with my claws, I am the strongest and noblest animal. I will eat the snakes that you all fear with my claws."

6
Finally, the oldest turtle said: "You are all beautiful, smart and stronger than each other, but this forest needs all of them, it doesn't need a race, if there is a race, realize that this forest will end."

7
But all the animals were so arrogant and shouted at the turtle. Then the lion said everyone must prove they are the strongest. The eagle said I will fly to the highest, the peacock said I will show everyone my most beautiful feathers. The fox said I will do the greatest trick of this forest.

8
The lion couldn't answer, he thought and said: I also hunt as many animals as I can. So everyone knows who is stronger. The lion had made his decision now he too was arrogant
.

9
When the turtle heard this word, he was very afraid and wanted to announce it to everyone, but it was very slow, instead he said to the lion: Sir, your fathers and mothers always hunted as much as they needed, they respected everyone's life, please give up on this decision.

10
The lion shouted , "A slow animal like you doesn't know or understand what it means to be the strongest, get away quickly or I'll kill you with one claw and don't talk to me again.''

11
The lion started to make his plan. He thought for a long time in his cave and decided that he would hunt all the chickens first. Then he would invite everyone to the meeting once again and prove that he was the strongest. After all, he would prove it.

12
The lion had planned to attack a village near the forest at night and hunt down all the chickens in the henhouse. The only thing he feared was that a villager would see him and shoot him, but he wanted more than anything to be the strongest and would take any risk for it.

13
When it got dark, the lion slowly entered the village and started to move towards the henhouse. He was very excited. He came close to the coop and suddenly went inside. At that moment, he killed all the chickens with one paw and came out of the coop, he ran back to the forest.

14
The lion again called all the animals to him and said: You see, I am the strongest, I killed all the chickens. No one in this forest can fight me.
I was always the king of this forest and I will be the king he shouted.

15
Among them, the leopard objected and said: Chickens are very small and weak animals, everyone can beat them. Your power can still kill only one chicken, in short, you are too weak to be our king.Everyone agreed with what the leopard said, and this made the lion very angry.

16
The lion said: Let it be as you wish, I will bring you greater proofs and you will have to believe me. Then everyone will accept my kingdom. This forest will be completely mine. Besides, you will all be ashamed of what you said then.

17
The lion thought again and decided that it was easy to kill the chickens. Greater prey would be needed for his victory, but that way he could be the king of this jungle and be respected by all. It was harder to kill the cows, they were both bigger and stronger, he thought.

18
He had to go to the village again, but that would be a bit more difficult. He decided to go at night again. This time he had to go into the barn and kill all the cows. He thought to himself again and said: Being the strongest will give me everything. I do the right things.

19
It was night and this time the lion entered the village quickly this time he scrambled out of all the houses and jumped towards the barn all the cows were scared but the lion killed them all with one bite. Then he ran into the forest again and started to wait for the next day because he was going to gather everyone again

20
The next day the lion roared and called everyone and said: All the cows are dead now accept it now I am the strongest and I must be your king, you all have to respect me.If anyone has any objections to say to me, let them say it, he said, and looked around confidently.

21
This time, the monkeys said: Cows can't run fast, you could kill them too easily and it wasn't fair, your strength is enough for that, you will never be our king. You still don't have enough strength you don't have a victory accept it

22
The lion was very surprised and couldn't say anything. He thought he couldn't be the king no matter what he did. He tried to do his best every time, but no one in the forest was happy. The lion got very angry and said: All the animals living in the forest will have to accept my kingdom one day.

23
At this moment, the turtle came and said: Sir, maybe you can kill me with one claw, but what you are doing is very wrong. You are killing animals to show that you are king, your actions will not bring you any good results. One day the animals will hate you.

24
Turtle continued: Sir, you and your family have always been our kings, but everyone was happy when they were there. Nobody killed a breed of animal because of an allegation. Your actions and methods will be very embarrassing for your family, and they will be badly known now.

25
The lion roared violently with anger and said: My family did not manage this forest well and a life as you know will no longer be in this forest because in my kingdom I have what I want and everyone must accept that I am the supreme animal or I will kill everyone, especially you turtle.

26
The tortoise said: Sir, I will stay here until the last day of my life and try to tell you the truth because I did the same to your grandfather, you can't scare me away from this forest and I can't go. But please listen to me, all the cows are dead, all the chickens are dead. balance will be disturbed

27
The lion said: I can't waste time talking to you now go quick and don't ever come and teach me how this forest should be because it will be as it should be in my kingdom you are just a slow walking coward and you don't know anything

28
The lion started to think again, this time he couldn't make himself accepted. He had to hunt in such a way that no one would remember it for years. So what was the way to do this? Who should he hunt? He decided that he would hunt the buffalos

29
they were both fast and strong now, when he hunted them, he would unconditionally become the king and tell the turtle who was right. The buffaloes were definitely a good choice, and he didn't like to kill animals himself, but he saw it as inevitable for the kingdom because all he wanted was power and dignity.

30
He began to wait for the night again, and when night came he went silently to the lawn where the buffaloes lived, and he huddled among them and killed them one by one, but in this fight, a buffalo kick hit his eye and he could no longer see that eye.

31
When he got to his cave, he roared in pain, realizing that he couldn't see, but there was nothing he could do anymore. The lion was paying the price for his mistake and he remembered the tortoise who had told him it was wrong many times, but he didn't listen to him and he wasn't going to listen.
