Omer And Hıs Famıly Lıvıng Happy In Syrıa, He Had To Immıgrate Due To War

It was Omar's first day at his new school in Turkey. Omar had to migrate with his family from Aleppo to Turkey as a refugee.
A new country, new school, new friendships... Would Omar be able to adapt to all of this?

Omer missed his old friends. The new school and friends scared him. All the students are looking at him curiously, he feels lonely, they couldn't understand his language and he couldn't understand their language either.

Omar knocked on the door of the classroom. He sat down on an empty bench with hesitant steps. The teacher introduced Omar to his classmates. Classmates welcomed Omar very nicely. When the recess bell rang, Mert introduced Omar to the school.
The next day, Mert brought word cards and started teaching Omar Turkish words.

Omar tried to use every new word he learned with curiosity and desire, and was very happy that Mert and his other friends treated him this closely. But he still misses Aleppo, comparing his friends there to the new friends he met here.
In this way, he began to be happy and get used to Turkey.

Omar began to communicate with his new friends and teachers. At first, he could only say words and point out what he wanted.

But, little by little, he began to formulate more complex phrases and to be able to communicate what he and his family felt.

Omar began to trust his school friends and some afternoons he would meet them to play in the city park.

Omar was now well connected with his friends and could speak Turkish better. One day, while they were spending time together at school, Omar told his friends about a game he played with his friends in Aleppo and they started playing the game with his friends. That day was one of Omar's happiest days.

Omar was so excited that he met new friends in his school. He felt himself good. He talked about his family and home and environment to his new friends.

As he learns new Turkish words easily and quickly, he begins to succeed in his lessons at school as well. Besides his friends, his teachers love him very much. His teachers introduce him the environment and organized some sport and social events with Omar. Omar is happier now.
Omar does not feel alone himself anymore.
He has many friends in his school and his environment. He is used to living in Turkey. He and his family are happy to be in Turkey.
