故事目的

這個故事是借助小狗冬甩的遭遇，教導小孩子應該要有正確的態度和同理心、愛心去照顧和對待小動物！

Aim

This story teaches children to have empathy when treating animals and use their warm heart to love everybody! 

從前，有一隻可愛的小狗名叫「冬甩」。

從前，有一隻狗，名叫甜甜圈。他在寵物店裡住了六個多月，等待主人帶他 回家。

once upon a time, there was a dog his name is Donut. He was living in a pet shop for over six months and he was waiting for his master to bring him back to home.

牠有一身長長的白色、褐色的軟毛，樣子很可愛。牠經常一見到有人來寵物店，便會開心地在籠子裏跳來跳去，吸引人們跟牠玩耍！

He was very pretty and has whitish brown fur. He looked very beautiful. When he saw customers go into the pet shop, he would attract the customers to play with him.

一天，終於有一家人來到寵物店購買小狗，牠就搖頭擺尾地引小女孩 Minnie 和牠玩耍。

One day, a family went to the pet shop to buy a pet. Donut was wagging his tail and a little girl named Minnie came to play with him.

終於，小狗冬甩被這家人買下來了！

小女孩 Minnie 沒有兄弟姊妹，每天放學回家，只有小狗冬甩陪她玩耍。

At last, Donut was bought by Minnie’s family.  Since Minnie has no brothers or sisters, Donut was the only one that played with her when she comes home after school.

而 Minnie 每天放學回家，一開大門就高聲呼喊：「冬甩！冬甩！家姐錫錫！」

小狗冬甩就會搖頭擺尾，歡天喜地地歡迎小主人回來。

Every day when Minnie comes back home, she would cry loudly: “Donut！ Donut！”, “I am back home!", " I love you very much！” as she opens the door. Donut would wag his tail and welcome Minnie happily. 

Minnie 就會用力抱緊牠，把牠抱在胸口前不停地親牠的頭頂。她常常說：「冬甩！冬甩！我好愛你呀！」

本來，有小主人的愛錫應是很幸福的事情，但小狗冬甩似乎不是這樣呢！

Minnie held Donut very tightly in her arms and cried loudly near his ears “Donut！Donut！”, "I love you very much!” However, unlike Minnie, Donut felt very unhappy about this. 

冬甩心裏想：「Minnie 不愛我了，這小魔鬼常常大力抱緊我，使我透不過氣來！我快要斷氣了，會窒息而死的呢！我不喜歡這樣！」

Donut was thinking that: “Minnie did not love me, and she is like a devil. She holds me tightly and does not let me breathe!” 

「她每天放學回家還大聲叫喊我的名字，令我的耳朵受苦，很是嘈吵。而且，她不停地親我的頭頂，使我的毛髮沾有口水的臭味！我最愛我美麗的毛髮了，卻被她弄髒。我真討厭這小魔鬼！」

"When she comes back home, she cried loudly and made my ears painful. She kissed my head and made my fur 

smell bad, I hate Minnie very much.

 I hate the devil!

之後，小狗冬甩就天天都不開心。當小主人 Minnie 放學回家大叫牠的名字時，小狗冬甩就不再搖頭擺尾了，反而會又害怕又恐懼地躲在桌子下。

Later, Donut was unhappy when Minnie came back home and called his name. He did not care about Minnie and did not wag his tail again. He hid under the table sadly.
