Silky always loved reading stories. He would read them morning, noon, and night.

Silky would read stories to all of the younger spiders. Every spider loved listening to how amazing he would tell stories, even the older spiders loved hearing his fantastic tales.

Sadly there was one spider that hated Silky his brother Spike. Spike was jealous of how all of the spiders loved how Silky told his, stories.

Spike was tired of hearing his brother's stories, so he summoned a north pole mage. He asked the Mage for a curse that would make his brother unable to read. The Mage refused at first but then Spike made the mage an offer he could not refuse.

The Mage gave Spike a potion and told him if his brother drinks the potion he will no longer be able to read. The mage asked if he was sure about this decision. Spike could only smile thinking about his brother not being able to read.

One day, just before Silky was about to read Spike gave him the potion. He told him that he should have a drink before reading such a long story. Silky said thank you to his brother then drank the potion.

Silky told him it was great and then asked him what the delicious drink was. Scared of what to say, Spike told him that it was a chocolate milk shake. Silky said thank you again then started reading a new book he had never read before.

As silky was reading the story he noticed that everything was turning black and before he could finish reading the second sentence he realized he was completely blind.

Spike was surprised by the reaction of the potion. After all of the other Spiders left he told his brother about what he did. Silky was sad but he ultimately forgave his brother in the end.

Spike took his brother to see the Mage. The Mage told them the potion was irreversible and that he would stay blind forever. The mage told them of another client who q blind and how he deals with his new handicap.
