PLANET PROFICIO
SCENE 1
Captain Gorenski: “Take off was successful, we are
in front of the asteroid belt. Be careful to watch out
of stray asteroids.”
Astronaut Oslov: “The controls seem to be jammed.
I really need some help down here. Captain? Are
you listening?”
The rocket is thrown off its path; communication is
cut and is blown away by an asteroid. The rocket
crashes onto an unknown planet.

From a distance the planet may look round but from close up, it’s always changing shape. Captain
Gorenski and Oslov are rescued from the crash by the inhabitants of the land, and are taken
underground into the planet headquarters.
Oslov: “My head is throbbing... Where are we, where is our ship and what happened?”
Captain: “Calm down Oslov, we will figure this out, as soon as we find a way to move.”
(The room has a laser protection system that is tying the astronauts down; therefore they have no
way out without dying.)
An eccentric lady enters the lab. She looks like a robot but her voice seems human. She wears a
helmet and holds a small device in her hand.
Sheleka: “Oh! Good to see you creatures awake. Doctor Ture has asked me to examine you.
Don’t worry it will not hurt it’s just a S.S.D. (A supernatural scanning device.) I just need to attach it
to your temples and it will give me all the information I need. Your probably wondering who I am
and where you are, aren’t you? I can see you’re scared.”
The astronauts look at each other with comical expressions and ask together: How does this
device work?
Sheleka: “It finds a connection with your nerves using a sensor that gets attracted to your pulse;
letting the device scan your brain.”
The astronauts are horrified and let a murderous scream. Sheleka hears this and begins laughing.

Scene 3
The astronauts have been tested and are clear to go. They step outside the lab with
oxygen masks and are awestruck. Despite being in space, the homes of the people are
rooted to the ground; this planet had a gravitational pull. People were wearing suits
identical to Sheleka, and seemed to communicate through a device in their helmets. This
device is a clear screen that operates on voice command and is portable and unbreakable.
Oslov and Gorenski return to the shuttle to get their cameras and find that it is already
being repaired. The people are using multipurpose lasers to melt and join the metal as
well as modify the scraps. Sheleka joins the two astronauts.
Scene 4
Sheleka: “Come on I’ll give you a tour of Proficio before you meet Dr. Ture”.
Gorenski: “We have nothing to lose, let’s go.”
The astronauts continue walking towards the city. The buildings are marvelous. They are
neatly shaped and are made of glass. Flat screens control the settings of the apartment.
The lights, the doors and all rooms can be changed and altered by the screens.

Sheleka: “The main building is the genetically modified
greenhouse, where plants are grown. This is one of our mixing
rooms These plants have been made by the people according to
their needs. They start with a seed and then add properties of
other plants by crushing their seeds together. This powder is then
formed into the final plant and sowed into the soil. (Brought in from
Earth)”
The astronauts are very impressed and make note of their methods.
