Once upon a time there was an extraordinary girl named Lumina Raine who was born in a beautiful country called Namibia. Lumina was part of a well known royal family with special powers. Her family was considered odd and strange because of their unordinary powers.

 Lumina's father Arthur had the power of wisdom which made him incredibly intelligent. The mother Louise had the power of happiness which gave her the power to make anyone sad, joyful and bright. Lumina's little brother Archie had the power of shapeshifting into animals which was very unearthly yet lots of fun. Last of all Lumina...well she did not have all those whimsical, strange powers like her parents and little brother but that never bothered her.

   One day Lumina was practicing to find her powers near the sparkling, majestic fountain when Archie came in and rudely said "You are never going to find your powers!". Lumina got startled at his loud, high pitch tone and tripped backwards into the expensive, glass flower vase that was placed on the marble table. As the table shook the flower vase came crashing down onto the plank floors but it seemed like it took forever seeing the vase break into a million pieces.

   Lumina looked down in shock at the broken vase and gasped "Oh my goodness! What have I done? Why did you do that Archie?" Archie looked at Lumina and said apologetically "I'm so sorry sis, I didn't mean to scare you like that." Lumina was filled with rage and was so disappointed in her little brother.  

   Lumina noticed shiny, golden dust floating out of the vase that sounded like wind chimes in the breeze. Archie asked shocked "Sis what is that?" Lumina replied "I don't know but it looks beautiful". Suddenly the house started to shake rapidly and Archie collapsed to the floor within a second. Lumina heard a thud behind her and she looked around and saw her brother lying on the floor unconscious. Her eyes filled with tears and her lips started to quiver as she said astonishingly "Archie, wake up please!" 

   Lumina went looking for her parents with shaking legs and found them in the kitchen, their bodies were as cold as ice yet they were still breathing. Lumina ran to her parents and wept harder than ever but tried to keep herself together, then she rushed back to the flower vase to find out what and how this tragedy happened.  

   The next day Lumina found herself laying on the floor near the vase that now smelled like dried flowers and fire. She was determined to find out why her parents and little brother passed out but not her. 

    Lumina went to check on her parents and was terrified of the sight she saw, her parents were gone! She started yelling "Mom, Dad!, where are you?" but no one answered. She looked around for hours but not a peep or a single clue of them even being there in the first place. So Lumina started searching for clues around the house as to why her family disappeared. Her mind was wondering all over the place but she knew she had to keep it together. 

   She walked into the bright, heavenly basement of their magnificent home and found a bookshelf filled with colourful glowing books. She reached her hand out to the glowing blue one which read 'The broken flower vase'. 

  Lumina opened the book and started reading and to her surprise it was exactly what she was looking for. "Dear Lumina Raine, this is your great grandmother Dionne Raine, if you are reading this then you must be facing the curse of the broken flower vase. You see my dear that flower vase that has been broken holds your family's powers together and without it your family disappears.
