A long time ago, there was a poor woodcutter and he had five beautiful daughters. But this woodcutter could not take care of his family because he was very poor. Four girls in the family complained more than their father was poor. But a girl was very upset about her father's situation. The girl started working in the city palace to support her father. While she was getting used to the palace, the other four sisters were disturbed by this situation and decided to make a plan.

And the girls go to their sister and convince them that their father is sick and that they should return home. On the way, they say that we will take a shorter route and leave her in another place and return home.

The girl, who was afraid to find her way home, was more lost.

She started running in fear .. She ran so much that she passed out under a tree . When she opened her  eyes, a garden with a thousand and one fruits appeared in front of her. The very hungry girl started to eat the fruits.

 When the girl ate these fruits, her eyes began to see very well. In this way, she saw where her house was and took her way home.

When her sisters saw her, they were surprized.They got angry and they decided to make another plan. They locked their sister in the basement. The little girl started crying when she suddenly noticed a door on the floor. She opened the door and she found a dark tunnel. She followed the tunnel and she arrived once again in the same garden with the fruit.

When she saw the beautiful fruit garden, she remembered what happened the last time she was there. The fruit seemed to have magical powers. The youngest sister picked a few of the lovely fruits. She was hoping that four of her sisters would become caring, hardworking, lovely girls with a good heart after eating the fruit. She took the fruit and was on her way. Unfortunately, as she was crossing the wooden bridge, she fell into the river which flows into the sea because her four sisters changed the solid wood with the rotten wood earlier.

They had thought that it was a good way to get rid of her as the

little girl didn’t know how to swim.She was caught in the current of river.When she was just about to drown,she saw a rope which tied to tree and managed to save herself by holding it.She had struggled so hard to survive that she was very tired and   cold.As she thought desperately about what to do that moment,she heard a sound like murmur  coming from among the trees.She decided to follow that sound eventhough she was afraid of darkness and she had never been to this place before.

Trembling by the cold and fear, the little girl walked with hesitant steps into the forest. She looked around but she couln’t see anything. So sat on the log of a fallen tree and began to cry desperately. Suddenly the little fairy of the forest appeared in front of her dressed in green and holding her magic wand. As soon, as the little girl saw her startled but the little fairy of the forest smiled at her and try to console her by talking sweetly to her singing voice. After the little girl calmed down she asked what’s happen to her and how she could help her

While the girl was telling the story, she heard a voice. The fairy was actually a witch. But the girl did not know this. The fairy began to think. She said she could help the girl, but she had to come after her. The girl believed. The fairy stuck her somewhere. The girl was out of breath, and suddenly she heard another voice. .and he woke up under the tree hallucinating that he passed out

She was hungry and remembered that she had an apple in her pocket that she brought from the garden. As she ate the apple, she began hearing a voice, it was the tree above her. The tree warned her that if her sisters continue to be evil they would be punished.

The tree tried to answer, but, unfortunately, the witch appeared and cast a spell on the tree. It could no longer speak. The girl felt disappointed and she decided to find Hodon on her own. As she was walking in the forest, she fell in a hole that the witch had made for her. She started crying for help and, luckily, Hodon,the magical creature heard her.

Hodon came closer to the hole and looking down saw the girl crying. He told her not to cry:

 And he saved the girl from down the hole. As he was talking to her he realised that he helped the girl when she was a child. Their parents were looking for her in the forest and he took care of her the time she was lost, so he decided to help her.

Both of them went through the forest, looking for the tree. Hodon realised that the tree couldn’t talk so he cast a magic spell and the tree talked again.

   The three of them were very happy. They were planning how to go to the girl’s house and how to treat her sisters but suddenly the witch appeared.

   The tree threw an apple to the girl. She was about to catch the apple but the witch caught it before and ate the apple, but........ the apple was poisonous.

And because of the ambition of the witch to eat the apple, she died, as the apple was poisoned. This made Lily think about how people with bad feelings never have a good end. Nevertheless, she always believed that her sisters loved her, so she did not give up in trying to find out the good heart of her sisters. 

So, she decided, with Hodon and the tree´s help, to think about a plan in order to meet her sisters and  family and live happily all together again.

With the help of Hodon, the girl found her home but she didn't enter. She waited in the garden. Hodon knocked the door and said that he brought four boxes for the girls. Each box made of precious materials such as gold, silver and bronze had a different form. There were maps in the boxes. Hodor explained that they would find their treasure when they followed the route in their map. The girls were excited and each one expected to find gold, money, jewellery in the end but this was a journey to goodness which would help to notice their mistakes. The eldest sister took the golden box and started her journey to golden island.

The maps seemed to direct the sisters into four different directions of the world. The gold  represented  the west, while the money represented the north. The east  stood  for jewelry.   The last map which directed the fourth sister to the south stood for platinum.

The oldest sister, who took the first possible way after the long journey, went to the plain, which seemed to  lie on the edge of a big forest. Long ago before she reached this point of her journey she felt really hungry and tired. but then something unexpected happened. She found the blanket with a basket full of food. She thought to herself WHOEVER DOES IT FOR HER SHE REPAY FOR THIS FAVOUR THOUSANDFOLD. After eating all the food she resumed her journey towards the mystery forest. Before she reached it she felt really thirsty and after a while she found a goblet with water. in this place she thought   WHOEVER DOES IT FOR HER SHE REPAY FOR THIS FAVOUR THOUSANDFOLD. She drank the water and started to continue her journey. The oldest sister finally got to the forest and started to go into his interior. After the while she discovered that in the middle of the forest there is a  big lake with a beautiful golden island………………………

On the edge of the lake there was a small boat, so she got in and went to the golden island.

She was greedy and at the same time enchanted by the gold so she began to explore the island but there was nothing to find but gold trees, gold flowers, even the soil was of gold.

After a long time she was bored and tired.  She was hungry and thirsty but there was nothing to eat.  She felt lonely in this golden creation, she was really all alone.  She looked for the small boat but it had disappeared.  She suddenly realized that gold did not give her any joy.

She was desperate and then she remembered with nostalgia the beautiful days she spent at home with her sisters and her father.  She wondered how much pain she had caused to her kind, good sister.  She regretted everything and realized that there is nothing more valuable than the warmth of home and the love of her family.

Tears began to run from her eyes and wet her face, falling to the ground of gold.  Those tears softened and melted the gold.  While she cried the golden island was transformed into a beautiful real island.

Happy she looked around her and took the road back….

The road she took started to fall apart and it seemed like the world is shattered in an instant. Her eyes went dark and came back with the hearing of woodchopping. She was amazed to see her four sisters sleeping around the basket of apples so carried away. She looked at her little sister, Mae, once more and wondered whether she had been dreaming. And then her eyes cashed her father zealously chopping the woods. He looked way younger and stronger. So, it all must be just a dream; but a very delicate dream... What do I have to think about it? she thought warily. Then suddenly Muirenn woke up startled exclaiming Hodon!

When Hodon had delivered the boxes with gold, silver and bronze he had put inside a magical powder that had made his sisters fall asleep and start a splendid journey into the world of dreams. At the end of their journey, the sisters discovered great values such as goodness, generosity, integrity and forgiveness. Upon awakening, the sisters hugged and danced happily in the magnificent fruit-filled garden; they asked forgiveness for the bad actions they had done against Lily. 

Then they decided to work all together at the palace so that they could help their father financially. At the palace, the sisters met some charming knights and fell in love with them, while Lily caught the attention of the prince who fell madly in love with the girl and immediately asked her to marry him. From that moment on, they all lived happily ever after and led a life of love and mutual help and so did their children and their children's children. And this is how a peaceful and conflict-free society was born.
