It was my mums day off, and she dropped me and my brother to school. "Have a nice day! I'll pick you up this afternoon!" she yelled. "Bye, Mum!"

Me and my brother yelled back.

When she returned home after dropping us off, she went to the op- shop and bought herself a shirt, then she went home and cleaned a little. By then it was already lunch. She got my dad, and they went to go eat some Korean food. As they arrived, they changed there mind, So the decided to go to a cafe. As soon as they got there, They sat down. 

My mum order a bacon toast thingy, Then, they realised that a dog was running around on the footpath, next to a road FULL with cars! My mum thought fast and ran after the dog and grabbed him by the collar. She pulled him to the cafe, and a waitress came over and said, "oh would you like a rope to keep him on?" "Oh, yes please!" my mum and dad said at the same time.

What a lovely lady. They tied him up and my mum gave him her Bacon Toast Thingy. By then, It was school Pick-Up in 2 hours. "thank you so much!!" my mum and dad said. Just then a lady came over. "hello. I know this dog. He is my next- door neighbour's dog and I can take him back for you?" said, 

The lady wasn't lying, but my mum needed to be sure, so she said no. The lady said fine, and walked away. My mum and dad had no idea how to pick up the dog, because he is a full-grown labrador. My mum said to him, "UP!" and pat the seat, and he hopped right in confidently. When my mum and dad arrived home, My mum did some research to find his owners. She also went out and bought a four dollar dog leash. My dad was on the couch watching BasketBall, And then the dog jumped right up on the couch, put his head on my dad, and made himself comfy. Next, My mum decided to walk him to pick me and my brother up.
