Matthew Freeman is his real name, he only 

goes by Matt. Matt is friends with Kelvin. 

They are going to rob a place that sells 

DVDs.

They get caught and Matt is going to be 

sent to a new home. Matt's new mom was 

going to be a old lady named Mrs. Deverill. 

She is a weird old lady.

Matt soon leaves his normal house and goes to 

live with Mrs. Deverill. Matt notices that she is 

hiding things from him. Matt works harder 

than he has ever worked. He has a lot of 

chores.

One night Matt sees light in the forest in front of 

their house. He also hears people whispering. He 

tries investigating it but finds nothing. 

Matt does not like the new place he lives in. The next 

day   Matt tries to escape in the night. He takes all the 

road possible but he ends up going in circles the whole 

night. He fails to escape.

During the day Matt goes around town exploring and   he 

finds something interesting. He found a Nuclear power 

plant that has nothing in it. Matt meets a man called 

Tom Burgess, walking around the plant.

Tom tells Matt to leave before its too late and gives him 

a powerful necklace with a picture of a talisman, who 

will guide him to be able to leave. He tells Matt to meet 

him at his house.

The next day Matt goes to Tom's his house, then realizes 

he is gone and not there. Matt is really scared of this 

new town in which he lives in. He notices a clue that 

could help him find out what happened to Tom, which 

was Ravens Gate.

Matt goes to the library to search for what the Ravens 

Gate is, but he finds nothing. He also searches on the 

computer, and he finds another person messaging him 

why Matt wants to know about Ravens Gate. The 

secret persons name is Dravid. 

Dravid also tells him nothing. Matt then goes to a writer 

named Richard, and tells him if he could help him 

findout what Ravens Gate is. Richard tells him to leave 

that he has no time for children's stuff.

One night Matt finds that in the nuclear power plant 

they were having a party. The whole town was there. 

Matt was noticed by an alarm that he touched. He 

wasn't supposed to be there.

Mrs. Deverill throws powder into the fire and summons 

three dogs. They were no ordinary dogs, they looked 

almost as if they were dogs risen from the dead. The 

dogs were after Matt, they chased him.

The dogs were close to catching him, but luckily 

the writer, Richard, finds Matt and rescues him in 

his car. Matt was very thankful Richard found him. 

Matt tells Richard he thinks all the people in the 

village were witches.

Matt goes to live with Richard, and both of them 

start searching everything about Ravens Gate. 

Matt goes with Richard to a psychic. The psychic 

tell them, they both have to go immediately to see 

professor Sanjay Dravid.
