   On one cloudy afternoon the Gung family well haft of 

the Gung family was sitting at their Kitchen table, Very 

Very sadly. The reason for their sadness was because 

they had lost both their children because of a robbery. 

It had happened only two years ago but they said it 

felt like it happened only a day ago . Now all that was 

left of the family was Tran the father and Ly the 

mother. Morned with so much grief they could not 

even get up to make or get something to eat. But to 

Tran surprise Ly got up and started making summer 

rolls.

There was something different this time when Ly was 

making the summer rolls normally she did not put this 

magic dust in that she did this time and she also only 

made one. Tran was very curious so he ask her why 

she did all of these things and to his surprise she said i 

am sick and tired of having no children so I am going to 

make us a little summer roll child.   Forty Five minutes 

later they heard a big clatter in the kitchen. So Ly and 

Tran ran in and saw the kitchen was a mess they also 

saw a little itcoun which means little roll in Vietnamese 

on the floor. It was screaming run run run as fast as 

you can you can't catch me I am the summer roll man 

and dashed out the front door.

He ran and he ran he ran so fast he could not 

tell where he was going and the he saw not five 

feet front of him a big giant Elephant the little 

roll stop not even a foot away and the Elephant 

roared mmmm how tasty you look and the 

Elephant stomach roared I might just haft to eat 

you. The little roll just laughed i have out ran the 

old couple and now I will out run you. So the 

little roll rolled right under the Elephant and was 

gone before the Elephant could try to stomp on 

her. Yelling run run as fast as you can you cant 

catch me I am the little roll man 

Of course the little roll got cocky again a 

looked be hind to see how far back they all 

were and bam smacked into a tree alerted a 

tiger right next to him and the tiger roared his 

loudest roar and   said goign to eat you and 

right before the tiger tried to pounce on him 

the little roll rolled up the tree yelling run run 

as fast s you can you can't catch me I am the 

little roll man.

The roll kept rolling and rolling until he rolled 

right into a little Gibbon's tail and it was never 

to be seen again. The Gung family decided to 

make another little summer roll only this time 

they would make one that could never 

escapee.
