     Chapter 1

One dark, Halloween night I was walking past the old cemetery to get home from the store after buying a lot of twix and reeses and I also bought some broccoli for the bad kids. I was about half way through when suddenly a strong wind blew and I saw a figure swiftly go past. I think to myself it is probably a cat when I see a dark figure appear in front of me and say follow me. He looked like a kid 18 to 19 years old. I said no thanks and started walking again except a little faster I get through the cemetery and pass by the old library and I see him again. He says   follow me but I do not talk. I start to run. I run until I get home. I close the door and lock it.

.  My mom says are you okay? I replied a little shaky yes and then my brother comes and says are you ready for the trick or treaters? I looked down smiling. Yes, of course I am, fuzzball. The kids came. Some of the costumes were funny, there was a banana and even a carrot that had a sign that said eat more veggies and requested broccoli instead of sweets!! When it came time I left for my sleepover at Katie's house.

I was almost there when I saw the kid again. I ran as fast as I could but suddenly he grabbed me. darkness. When i woke up i was in a room in some odd clothes they were some black leggings a spider and cobweb skirt a black long sleeve shirt some black high heels and a witch looking hat i looked around i was all alone 

against the wall was a broom and some beakers suddenly the kid came in through the door and said welcome to your new home and school he said with a smile.  

                                         Chapter 2

I was on the verge of hitting the kid with a broom  when he explained that this is a school for witches. We find girls who are nice, adventurous and smart and make them witches.We used to take in boys but that changed about 20 years because he hesitated and looked away and said anyway welcome to your new home your roommate will be here shortly. I look confused and ask am I the only one? 

What about my family and will I live here forever? 

 He answered me in a calm voice no you aren’t the only one two your parents wanted you here and three you will only live here during months other than June and July, also spring, winter and fall breaks, that is when you go home. For the summer and here are your roommates I looked at the two girls. It was Hannah Smith and Elizabeth Carter, my best friends!

 So once I saw them I felt a little better then something popped in my head and asked one why did you not just ask me and two will there any boys here he looks at me and says one it had to be a secret that could only be told to when you are 11 and

 two no boy students me and my friends cheered at that news no boys allowed. Also my name is Mr. Dragon, said the kid  

. I will be one of your teachers. He left the room leaving me with Elizabeth and Hannah. We all started talking at once until I calmed them down and made them tell their story of how they got here.

 Hannah said she was going trick or treating when a woman appeared and told her to follow her she denied then when she was alone walking home she grabbed her and she woke up in a classroom and learned the Mr. Dragon brought her here.

 Elizabeth said she was on her way to my house to say hi she walked through the cemetery when Mr. Dragon said follow me and she said no she ran to the dollar store then he took her. I told them my story and they were surprised I got away 2 times. I guess we are stuck together for the rest of our lives except for summer and winter breaks also I call top bunk!!! 

     Chapter 3

When we calmed down I got the top bunk, Elizabeth got the bottom and Hannah got a tiny bed. Then we got settled, we started to talk again and we walked around the room. I was checking out the drawers of a  cabinet when I found something.

Hannah Elizabeth, check this out. They came over and saw papers with each of their names on them. I opened mine and read aloud what it said.

To Witch middle school      This is where you will live for the rest of your life. You will stay with the people in your dorme and only leave the school campus for these three reasons    1. An emergency   2. On a field trip   3. For vacation     you will become a witch in these school halls but this is very important we only use are magic to help people that is one of the reasons that there are no boys here cause most of the time girls listen and help more than boys be warned if you get 5 frogs then you are sent home and can never

Hannah and Elizabeth read theirs and it was the same we looked at the schedules and read them.
