Katniss has survived the 

Quarter Quell (75th annual 

Hunger Games). She is 

living in District 13 after 

most of District 12 after it 

was bombed. Now she has 

returned to the remains of 

district 12 to see the damage 

she's caused and to pick up her 

belongings. She was later told 

that Finnick and Beetee were also 

rescued,but were unable to rescue 

Peeta, Johanna, and Enorbaria.

 Once Katniss arrives at 

district 13, she begins to 

unpack her stuff in her new 

home.They're heading to eat 

when Gale and Katniss are 

called in to meet with the 

officials in the H.Q. aka 

(Command).President Coin 

(leader of district 13) 

desires to overthrow the 

capitol, so she is in need of 

Katniss help to finish what 

she started (get the districts 

to rebel).

Katniss manages to negotiate a 

deal with President Coin to give 

the other former victor tributes 

from the arena to receive 

pardons after they win the war. 

She gets to hunt with Gale, and 

also gets to kill President Snow. 

With this Katniss Everdeen 

officially becomes,"The 

Mockingjay."

Katniss's finds her old prep 

team Octavia, Venia, and 

Flavius captured and tortured 

for stealing some food and 

were imprisoned by the 

citizens of 13. They seem 

scared of her and have clearly 

been treated poorly. Katniss 

demand their release, and 

takes them to her mother who 

works in the hospital. After 

that Katniss and Gale hunt so 

they can clear their head since 

it is too much of a change 

here in district 13. 

The rebels are going to try to make 

her look natural again and then add 

battle-scars.   So she can help 

encourage the other districts to rebel 

against the capitol.   Later on Katniss 

goes to the armory, and finds Beetee 

and Gale. Beetee asks Katniss about 

Finnick and then says he has been 

working on weapons for the both of 

them. He takes Katniss and Gale over 

to the Weapons to show her his 

invention.Gale picks out a bow as his 

own weapon. They discuss whether 

it's all right to use such weapons on 

other humans.Then, Beetee brings 

Katniss the weapon,a bow that can 

listen to her when she speaks. 

Haymitch convinces 

everyone that the 

moments when Katniss 

was powerful and 

effective was on 

screen,so they decide 

to send Katniss out 

fighting for the 

commercials in District 

8. They basically wan't 

to get something more 

authentic .

Katniss, Gale, and Boggs are 

dropped off at district 8 with a 

few medics who brought 

medical supplies for the 

injured. Once they arrive 

Katniss spends a little time 

encouraging the injured that 

she is alive, and is ready to 

fight.But then they're notified 

that they're going to bomb part 

of the district so they're 

retreating when katniss sees 

the hospital being bombed. 

Gale and Katniss team up and 

manage to destroy all the 

capitol bombers with their 

specialized weapons.

Katniss gets to meet the film crew

(Pollux and Cressida). Later on 

they go where Gale and her used 

to go hunting and that brings her 

back many memories before the 

hunger games. The next day 

Katniss goes to headquarters to 

see Peeta on T.V. pleading with 

them to cease fire when district 13  

hacks the transmissions, and puts 

a clip of Katniss in District 8 

bravely fighting off the capitol 

bombers. Then Peetas 

transmission comes back on 

warning them that they will be 

attacked!

District 13 is on a complete lockdown, after Peetas 

warning of an attack. The loud sirens are going off,and 

everybody has gone underground to protect themselves 

from any possible bombing from the Capitol. Boggs, 

Finnick, and Katniss go deeper down and make sure 

everything is under control. A few minutes later the 

bombing begins, but there was no casualties.

Katniss is worried of Peeta for foiling 

the Capitol's surprise attack, and is 

desperate to outside again (but can't 

risk another surprise attack). Katniss 

and Finnick have become close 

friends and Katniss tells Finnick of 

her conflicts since he has gone 

through a similar experience with 

Annie. Later on when they're back 

above ground Katniss can't take 

anymore and begins to cry and can't 

control her emotions(Finnick later 

tells them about Peeta and the rebels 

plan to rescue The remaining 

victors).

Now Katniss realizes she will 

have to pick between Gale and 

Peeta (Katniss couldn't be part 

of the rescue team because of 

her critical condition). Katniss 

and Finnick doesn't want be 

useless so they begin to start 

filming again and revealing all 

of President Snow's dirty 

secrets. Hours later the rescue 

team comes back with Peeta, 

but to katniss suprise when 

she was going to greet him, 

Peeta began to choke her!

Peeta doesn't manage to 

kill Katniss but he does 

temporarily hurt her while 

choking her. They later 

tell her that Peeta was 

"hijacked" by the capitol 

using Trackerjacker 

venom to increase his 

frightened feelings. It has 

made Peeta forget his 

love for katniss, and they 

are not sure if Peeta can 

fully recover.

while Peeta is in intensive care, 

Katniss went to District 2 to help 

the rebels take over since that 

District helps the capitol with 

weapon and army supplies. They 

have attempted to destroy the 

nut but its constructed in the 

mountain making it hard to 

attack or destroy it. Gale finally 

makes a plan to plant bombs on 

the mountains to create an 

avalanche to trap everybody 

inside (katniss considers this 

cruel and disagrees).

Gales plan has caused a debate 

because there may be spies in 

the nut (that's when Katniss 

realizes Gale has gone mad). The 

plan works and traps everybody 

inside, but they have let a little 

opening for survivors to 

surrender and live. Katniss then 

tries to persuade the remaining 

survivors to surrender peacefully 

(thats when the survivors begin 

to come out but one of the 

survivors aims at gun at her and 

Katniss manages to convince him 

that they're on the same side but 

she gets shot by someone in the 

crowd).  

Katniss is back in the hospital 

after she got shot in District 2, 

but the armor designed by 

Cinna saved her (Johanna 

another former tribute is alive 

and is also in the hospital with 

her). Plutarch arrives later to 

tell her that Peeta is 

improving, and also to tell her 

that the rebels have isolated 

the capitol. Finnick and Annie 

have decided to get married, 

and they're going to have a 

wedding.
