Farofa: Famous for its distinctive smoky flavor, this is a deliciously salty dish made from small pieces of bacon fried with cassava flour.
Moqueca de Camarão: Moqueca is a tasty slow-cooked stew typically containing prawns or fish, coconut oil and milk with added vegetables, tomatoes, onions, and coriander, and served piping hot in a clay pot.
Vatapá: A thick stew from Bahia.

Portuguese is the official and national language of Brazil and is widely spoken by most of the population. Brazil is the most populous Portuguese-speaking country in the world, being the only country colonized by the Portuguese in the Americas.

Location: Eastern Europe. It’s the second largest country on the continent after Russia.

The flag of Ukraine has two horizontal bands of blue and yellow. It is used since 1848 when it was hoisted over Lviv Town Hall.
Ukraine is bordered by Belarus to the north, Russia to the east, the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea to the south, Moldova and Romania to the southwest, and Hungary, Slovakia, and Poland to the west. In the far southeast, Ukraine is separated from Russia by the Kerch Strait, which connects the Sea of Azov to the Black Sea.
The country consists almost entirely of level plains. Mountainous areas are only on the country’s borders.

Traditional Ukrainian clothing has conquered the hearts of the world. The reasons are the simplicity in form, the variety of symbols and ornamentation, and the rich colours used.
The highlight of the clothing are accessories like belts, jewelry and headdresses, decorated with ribbons and fresh and artificial flowers, and even coins. Men’s traditional clothing is simpler: they resemble the outfits of other Slavic ntions.
The clothing of Northern Ukraine is distinguished by the modesty of traditional decorative elements.

Borscht -a vegetable soup made out of beets, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, dill, but it can include meat or fish.

Chicken Kiev -a dish made of chicken fillet pounded and rolled around cold butter, then coated with egg and bread crumbs, and either fried or baked.

The country is located on the Balkan Peninsula. It is divided into 13 regions. Greece borders with Albania, Macedonia and Bulgaria. It is located in the Mediterranean Sea and has coasts on the Ionian Sea and the Aegean Sea.

Among the most well known monuments of Ancient Greece are the Acropolis in Athens and the Parthenon temple, The sanctuary of Delphi, the ruins of the Olympic stadium in Olympia.
Among the most important tourist attractions in Greece there are the theatres. The most striking is the Epidaurus Theatre. It is located in the North-East of the peninsula and was built in 350 BCE.
Besides the ancient monuments, Greece is also known for its scenic landscapes with picturesque village and stunning beaches.

THE PARTHENON TEMPLE
The Parthenon is the biggest temple of the Acropolis. It was built to the goddess Athena in the fourth century BC by order of Pericles. The Parthenon has got eight columns in the short side with a row of columns around.


THE METEORA
The Meteora is a rock formation in central Greece hosting one of the largest and most precipitously built complexes of Orthodox monasteries. It was built in the XIV century.

Greek cuisine is full of aroma. Fresh food, vegetables and sea food dominate most dishes. Spices such as oregano, thyme, mint or rosemary are added to most Greek dishes. Olive oil is used for a lot of dishes and for dipping bread.

MEZEDES
Mezedes are snack that can be eaten before meals or enjoyed with drinks at the local restaurants or tavernas.

FASOLADA
Fasolada has been the national dish of the Greeks for centuries. And don't listen to anyone who says it's moussakas or souvlaki or anything else!
Ingredients (3-4 people)
- 200 g cannellini beans
- chopped celery and onions
- chopped carrots
- 1 bay leaf
- black pepper and red pepper
- abundant oil
- chili (optional)
Procedure:
Soak the beans for 6-7 hours. Wash the beans with baking soda. Add carrots, celery, onions and a bay leaf in the water. Add red and black pepper. Cook for about an hour. Ten minutes before the end of cooking, add tomato paste and salt.

CHORIATIKI SALAD
This salad is what we know all over the world as Greek salad, made with plenty of tomatoes, cucumber, olives and feta cheese. It is usually eaten with bread and not with pita.
Greek salad is prepared with lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes, and is then enriched with a Greek cheese called feta, black olives (usually Kalamata), and onion, and the whole is then dressed with an emulsion of olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. The richness of the ingredients allows you to complete the dish with various colours, which entice the eye and invite the palette. Unlike chicken salads, this dish lends itself to a vegetarian diet.

The Greek language is a language spoken in Greece and other Mediterranean countries. Its alphabet contains 24 letters, seven vowels and 17 consonants.
It is the oldest of the still spoken Indo-European languages.
The Greek alphabet comes from the Phoenicians’ alphabet, and its written record dates back 3,500 years.
There are two types of the Greek language and alphabet, the “classical” and the “modern”.
Many words of the Greek language are used in the English language, such as: maths, physics, athletics, telephone, politics, academia, democracy and geography.
Classical Greek was one of the most important languages in the history of human culture. It was the language of Homer, of the first philosophers and the first writers of the West.

BELGIUM LANGUAGES
Belgium has three official languages: French, Dutch and German. French is spoken mainly in Wallonia in southern Belgium while people in northern Belgium speak predominantly Dutch. Dutch is spoken by about 60% of the population as first language. Only a small minority of people in eastern Belgium speak German as first language.
Brussels is a bilingual city and in many touristy places people speak English as well as French and Dutch or German. English is the second foreign language in many schools.
The Belgian Dutch is slightly different to the Netherlands Dutch and referred to as Flemish, while the Belgian French is today similar to standard French. The Belgian French Walloon is spoken only by some people.

Belgium has a king and a royal family. King Philippe and Queen Mathilde have four children.
King's Day in Belgium is celebrated every year on 15 November.
