Bir varmış bir yokmuş. Ormanın içinde dağın yamacında çok güzel bir köy varmış. Köyün etrafı yemyeşil ağaçlarla çevriliymis. Once upon a time, once upon a time. There was a beautiful village on the slope of the mountain in the forest. The village is surrounded by lush trees.(GAMZE SERT)

Nusaybin Sevgi Yuvası Kindergarten

Köy halkının evlerinin yanında küçük küçük tarlaları varmış. Herkes meyve sebzesini oraya dikermis. Çok güzel meyveleri sebzeleri olurmuş.The people of the village had small fields next to their houses. Everyone planted their fruit and vegetables there. It had beautiful fruits and vegetables. Günler böyle geçerken köylüler bir araya gelmişler. Demişler ki; bizim tarlalarimizda çok güzel ürünler yetişiyor ama tarlalarimiz çok küçük, bu tarlalar bize yetmiyor.   Days passed, but it did not happen as they expected. None of the vegetables and fruits they planted were as beautiful as before, and the soil was not fertile.  (Loreta Dubako)

Tüm köy halkı çareler düşünmüş. Ve bir çözüm bulmuşlar. Ormandaki ağaçları kesip tarlaları büyütmeye karar vermişler. / All the village people thought of solutions. And they found a solution. They decided to cut down the trees in the forest and grow the fields.(Hale Göz)

Günler geçmiş ama tahmin ettikleri gibi olmamış. Ektikleri hiç bir sebze meyve eskisi kadar güzel, toprak da verimli değilmiş.As the days passed like this, the villagers came together. Zübeyde Hanım Kindergarten

Bir gün büyük bir fırtına çıkmış ve topraklarin bir kismi yamaçtan aşağı doğru uçup gitmiş. Köylüler ilk kez böyle birşey görüyorlarmis. Ve ne olduğunu anlayamamışlar.( Erozyon) .One day a big storm broke out and some of the land was blown off the slope. This is the first time the villagers have seen something like this. And they couldn't understand what it was. (Erosion)

Sonra bir gün şiddetli bir yağmur baslamis. O kadar çok yağmış yağmış ki tepedeki evler kaymaya başlamış. Kayan evler hasar görmüştü ve çok kötü görünüyordu. (Heyelan) 

Then one day it started to rain heavily. It had rained so much that the houses on the hill started to slide. The floating houses were damaged and looked very bad. (Landslide)

Köylüler çok üzgün bir şekilde toplanmışlar. Tüm bu yaşadıklarının sebebini düşünmeye başlamışlar. Yaptıkları hatanın farkına varan köylüler çok pişman olmuşlar. Köylerini eski haline getirebilmek için tekrar ağaçlar dikmeye karar vermişler. Ve hemen işe başlamışlar. Ağaçların toprağın ve doğanın önemini anlayan köylüler ektikleri ağaçlari sulamışlar ve büyütmüşler. Ağaçlar büyüyünce köyleri eski güzel günlerine geri dönmüş. Toprak eskisi gibi verimli olmuş. Ektikleri meyve sebzeler çok güzel ve sağlıklıymış.  Köyleri ağaçlarla çevrili olduğu için  bir daha heyelan, erozyon gibi afetler yaşamışlar.

The villagers gathered very sadly. They began to think about the reason for all these experiences. Realizing their mistake, the villagers regretted a lot. They decided to plant trees again in order to restore their village. And they got to work right away. Understanding the importance of trees, soil and nature, the villagers watered and grew the trees they planted. When the trees grew, their village returned to its good old days. The soil has become as fertile as before. The fruits and vegetables they planted were very beautiful and healthy. Since their villages are surrounded by trees, they have experienced disasters such as landslides and erosion again.
