Project Aim:
This Project aims teaching English via playing games which will be created by students themselves. They will both have fun and learn in a fun way. Creating game materials give students confidence and opportunity to “create” something and use it. Students will be active in writing and using vocabulary. They will improve their searching, creating and writing skills and they will have fun to study.
Project Plan:
December: Meeting Project partners and sharing the details
January: Creating game materials with “building bricks”
February: Creating game materials with “toy blocks”
March: Creating game materials with “balls of play pool”
April: Making brain storming and find a material for final
May: Evaluating the process by making a competition with all materials and sharing in website.
Ps: Because of date changes, competition will be in April. Final product and evaluation will be in May.

We write subjects, verbs, words on blocks and then try to create a sentence.

We write adjectives especially antonym words on balls and then we try to match 2 antonyms in 20 seconds. First match wins! :)
April (Matching Game)

We have activities and sport pictures and words. We have to remember where they are and try to make a true match! :)

we write pronouns, verbs, time expressions, daily routines etc. on the toy blocks. then we try to make sentences with the given words. Whoever can make more correct sentences wins

We write down the important words in the 1st term. Choose a brick and tell its meaning in Turkish. Whoever has more bricks wins.

March ( Balls of Play Pool)

we played a ball game. We learned the words used with "go,play,do".
The one who puts the words in the correct box wins.

April (Time Balls)

It's a team game. We write the times in small pieces and put them into the eggboxes. Each team player opens the boxes at the same time and finds the correct time. The first team who gets 100 points wins.

We prepared some questions and wrote numbers on the toy blocks. Students chose a toy blocks and answered the questions.
February(lego bricks)

There are some questions and words which stuck back of the brick. If they answer the questions correctly, they will form a picture.
March(Classify the Balls)

We stuck castle shape and wrote some İf clause sentence. Students chose one of the balls and completed the sentences.
April (taboo-domino)


Students told the words with forbidden words and they matched scrambled words.

JANUARY
TOY BLOCKS
First, my students divided the word about health problems. Then wrote them on a paper. After that pasted it on a block. They played it to combine the word. Who combined the word fastly ,he or she won the game.
FEBRUARY
LEGO BRICKS

My students wrote questions about times and health on colorful cards. They selected a card and answer the questıon. Then they pulled the jenga which is the same color.
