We integrated the carbon footprint problem into the English course with the STEAM teaching model. We simulated the "Greenhouse Gas Effect" experiment with our students using the PHET web2.0 tool. Our students practiced English by explaining the experimental processes and results in English, learned a new web2.0 tool that they can use in different lessons and they learned practically what the greenhouse gas effect is and how it affects the Earth.

Our students discovered some causes and effects of increasing global temperature, determined the environmental factors that affect the motion and size of glaciers, explained how greenhouse gases influence the temperature of the Earth.

We used many of the STEAM techniques in Science class in our school. The students calculated their Carbon Footprint and proposed who they could reduce it.

After that, they assembled a model wind turbine and they designed a photovoltaic installation of a house. They also planted in school's yard.

Hello, I am a visual arts teacher. Instead of buying new canvases with our students, we made our paintings by lining the used canvases in our school. Thus, we evaluated our old canvases. We determined our subjects as plants, our environment, our nature, and the seasons. Our students painted the subjects they chose. While doing our painting work, we talked about nature and discussed what we can do. Then we used Web2 tools to present our products.

Hello, I am a philosophy teacher. In this project we
tried to raise awareness to reduce carbon footprint
emissions. For this reason, we listed what we could do
reduce the carbon footprint with my project students at our school and hung them on our school boards.

I am a teacher of English, so I integrated the global warming issue into my English classes. In this respect, I prepared some workshops for my students who were eager to practice English by doing different activities like treasure hunts or explaining what the greenhouse gas effect is and how it affects the Earth.
Finally, the students calculated their Carbon Footprint and
came up with solutions to reduce it and discussed about the
importance of water.

We also made letters from waste materials.

Hi i'm a science techer.at one off my lessons my students and i taught a course on the water cycle with the STEAM training method. We exchanged ideas about the water cycle, the importance of water for living things and water pollution with the help of music and technology. We drew attention to the importance of water by making clouds and water drops from recycled paper and cardboard.PLEASE CHECK LINKS
