One day the teacher entered the classroom and asked his students: "What kind of school would you like to have?" A student who was not very willing to attend the classes took the floor and started to speak: "We always learn what you want, teacher. I can't find the opportunity to learn anything that I am really curious about at school. That's why I wish I had a freer school." said.

Hearing this, the teacher agreed with the boy after some thought. And turning to the other children, he began to take their opinions one by one. Children enjoyed this democratic environment very much. After getting the ideas of the other kids...

"Is such a school possible?" asked Güneş.

"Of course it is possible", their teacher said. Ali excitedly said, "Teacher, we can take lessons in the garden and observe nature." Aslı: I'm very curious, teacher. For example, I can't go to space, but I can get information by doing research on the internet. “I can share what I've learned with my friends,” she said.

Nilgün ERGİN/12 Eylül Primary School

New ideas came to their minds. Ahmet took the floor and said "We can learn by organizing a nature trip." Together they put on their hats and went on a journey through nature to observe animals, plants and clouds.

During the trip, they reached the lakeside. They stopped there to listen for a bit. The sky looked beautiful. The clouds in the sky caught the attention of the children. Eslem said, "Look, friends, this cloud looks like a bird." Eren said that the other cloud looks like a car. After drawing the pictures of the clouds in their notebooks by imitating them in various shapes, they continued their journey.

RUHİ UYSAL USO PRİMARY SCHOOL

A little further they saw cows grazing. Children watched these cute animals with interest. Then they talked among themselves about the food obtained from these animals. The owner of the cows, Uncle Ali, said hello to the students and offered hot milk. The children thanked him and kept going.

NİLAY YELDOĞAN /ÇALTIDERE PRİMARY SCHOOL

A little further ahead, the people working in the field caught their attention. The most beautiful days of spring had begun. They were planting beans and chickpeas in the fields. While the children looked at them with curious eyes, they said that they could plant seeds, and when they planted all the seeds, they kept going.

They continued to study nature, enjoying the scent of flowers and the chirping of birds. They paid attention to the sound of the river flowing a little further from them. They ran excitedly towards the stream. And what do they see! The river is full of garbage.
