"The next witness is Alice!" screamed the Queen
of Hearts as she beckoned for Alice to step on to
the podium. They were in court having a trial
against the knave for stealing the Queen's tarts.
The punishment: execution.
"Did you see the knave steal my tarts, young
Alice dear?" the queen asked Alice with anger in
her voice.
"I have no idea what happen to the tarts your
majesty," Alice replied quite honestly. The
queen ordered Alice to go stand with the other
witnesses or it would be off with her head.

"Stupid girl," the queen muttered under breath as
Alice went to stand with the other witnesses,
including the march hare, the mad hatter, the
field mouse and the Cheshire Cat.
"What do you know?" Alice shot back at the
queen.
"Only speak when spoken to dumb girl or it'll be
off with your head!" the Queen said ignoring Alice.
The entire court and everyone in it were amazed
that Alice stood up to the queen, but even more
amazed that there was no consequence.

What do you know?

So sorry!
Without thinking the queen suddenly shouted,
"The knave is guilty off with his head!" As Alice
left the court she though about how unfair this
wonderland really was and she wanted change
things. She ended up running into the mad
hatter while in the hallway because her mind
was lost in thought.
"Oh my goodness I am so sorry," Alice said
very sincerely to the hatter.

Suddenly Alice heard a coarse whisper in her
ear...

Down with the red queen
Alice sat and thought and thought and thought
and continue to think even more about what
the hatter had said to her and what she would
do about it. After thinking about it for a while
longer she had a plan. In the castle there was
an enchanted mirror in which Alice had heard if
anyone looked into it they would get trapped
inside never to come out. But, getting to it
would be the hard thing.
