Chapter 1: A friend 

It was November and Clara got her new cat, Snowflake. 

She also has another cat named Oatmeal.

But Oatmeal and Snowflake did not get along well.

Especially with the food, because when Clara feeds them and then goes to school when she gets back she always sees cat food everywhere. Claras mom and dad never knew about this. So Clara would have to separate them when they have their meals. 

When she started doing that things got better.

After a month Clara was starting to have lot if fun with her cats.

It’s a week until Christmas and were setting up all the decorations. We are gonna get the tree the day before Christmas Eve. 

Clara loves setting up decorations. She loves holiday, vacations are mostly CAT DAY. That’s a holiday she made up. It’s on the first of February.

Clara has been waiting for CAT DAY for about 3 months and she only made the holiday 3 months ago!

Clara is writing now all the thing that her cats do.

She has one for Oatmeal and Snowflake. Everyday she writes one pages about how they are acting. 

Oatmeal

Oatmeal is acting very shy

She feels happy and calm

Today she winked at me 

I love her so much

She played with snowflake

Snowflake 

Snowflake is acting happy

She feels exited and free

Today she smiled at me

I love her so much

She played with Oatmeal

Snowflake jumped onto the couch and then poof she fell asleep. Then Clara turn her head around and saw Oatmeal, looking like a pig rolling in the mug, but what she actually was a cat rolling in well nothing. Clara turned back around and snowflake was still sleeping so she decided to go and make some lunch. Snowflake is 3 years old and Oatmeal is 12 year old she is pretty old. When it was nighttime Clara made herself dinner then watched a little tv show and went to bed. 

Chapter 2: A pass away

Clara woke up and looked around she saw the worst thing she had ever saw in her life! 

“Oatmeal” Clara said while moving the cat.

“Oatmeal Clara said louder. 

“Oatmeal d-i-e-d” screamed Clara.

“Why why why”

Clara’s parents came in her room and was wondering why she was screaming. 

“Clara stop that screaming” yelled Clara’s mom.

“But Oatmeal D-I-E-D!!!!!!” Clara answered.

Clara’s mom checked the cat.

Yes Oatmeal has past away. 

Snowflake looked like she was crying. “Everyone loved Oatmeal so much but now she has past away in her sleep. She was an old cat and very kind she knew tricks and all. Every day we will think of her. Every week she will be in our mind. Every year she will be in our hearts...” Clara’s Dad said. 

“Thank you father and mother for helping me raise my cat. Oatmeal will always be in my heart and mind.” Clara said 

“I will think of her everyday and night. My heart and mind will always be with her. She will always be someone I will never forget.” Said Clara’s Mom

“We love you” they all said. 

“Meow” Snowflake said.

Chapter 3 chores 

The next few days Clara was really sad. She could only think of Oatmeal. One day, Clara went into her pantry and saw something IT WAS OATMEAL, the food. She made the Oatmeal and felt a little better. 

Then, Clara saw a list of CHORES. Usually when Clara as a cat she could play with her and not do so many chores. So everyday now, Clara has to do a lot of chores. Her mother does not like doing her chores so if Clara does her chores then that would be her mothers time of her life. But Clara said “Why do I have to do chores if I still have a kitten?” “Because…..1. I don’t like to do your chores chores…..2. Snowflake is not a cat she a kitten-“ “But”

“Don’t interrupt me….3. You haven’t done chores in so long. That’s it” said Clara’s mother. “Okay fine I will do my chores” replied Clara. Clara looked at the list and read…

Not a lot of things were on the list. But her mother had more things in her head. Everyday it took about a hour or more. (Her room is really messy). After Clara does all her chores, she get to play with Snowflake.

Chapter 4 Sister

The next day Clara woke up and her mom showed her, her sister. Clara said “who is this?’” “It’s your sister, she is 6 years old and she was adopted but now she has came back to us.” Said her mother

“Wow now I have a sister! What her name?” “Her name is Chloe” answered her mom. “Hi Chloe” said Clara “hello” said Chloe 

Clara showed Chloe around the house. Chloe look like a sweet girl. And she is! Clara played with her everyday and never stopped she liked sisters and sisters that are younger than her. It’s just that she’s not spending lots of time with snowflake. She just noticed that. She was trying to find snowflake then she turned around, now she was trying to find Chloe. Clara thought Chloe was a pain. She was ya (was) but now she a sweet little girl. Clara doesn’t like sweet little girls. She just like girl and friend not someone to bother her. So Clara didn’t want to go and find Chloe she just kept looking for snowflake.

Chapter 5 A walk 

Clara finally found snowflake and then took her fo a walk a long walk that Clara got lost she was in a different neighborhood! This had happened before but not with her kitty. She tried top find a way out of  the neighborhood she is in. But she just got even more lost. She was at one of her friends house. She nocked on the door and it opened. Her friend mom came out and said “where is Heather? (That’s Clara’s mom) and were is Frank?” (That’s Clara’s dad). “They are at home I go lost when I was taking snowy for a walk.” Okay come in Madison is upstairs.” “K” 

Clara went upstairs. She played with Madison and snowy. They drove clara home then guess what she did?
