that has the lowest point in the country
at Badwater which is -282 feet.

which is made up of a slow moving
river that many people confuse for a
swampland.

Ff is for fields where major crops
grow such as corn, soybeans, hay,
wheat, cotton, grain, and rice.

Gg is for the Great Plains that extend
from the Mississippi River all the way to
the Rocky Mountains and cover ten
states.

Hh is for the hot springs that have a
temperature higher than that of the
boiling point and are found in states
like Utah, California, and Wyoming.

Ii is for the Intracoastal Waterway
which is between the mainland and the
coastal island that allows goods to get
from one place to another from Florida to
Massachusetts on 3,000 miles of water.

Jj is for the James River in Virginia
that is 348 miles long and contains two
tributaries.

Kk is for the Keys in Florida that are a
chain of islands made of coral and
limestone, also known as an archipelago.

Ll is for Lake Superior, the biggest
lake in the USA, measuring 31,700
square miles.

Mm is for the
Mississippi
River, the
longest river
in our country
flowing from
Minnesota to
Louisiana,
measuring
2,340 miles.

gallons of water
move through the
waterfall per second.

and where in the late 1800s, about

forty percent of the United States.

construction use, the largest in the continental
USA located in Miami, Florida.

that is more than 3,000 miles from the
Southwest to the West United States
that connects Canada to New Mexico.

Ss is for streams found all over the
United States that provide fresh
drinking water for more than 117
million people.

Tt is for tundra,
frozen ground,
found in
Washington State
which is the
coldest biome and
it contains over
400 varieties of
flowers, but only
48 different
animals.


Uu
Uu is for the u-shaped valley located
in Glacier National Park that was
created by glaciers in the last ice age
and is slowly disappearing due to
increased temperatures.
