A is for Arm
Our arms are used to
push, pull, and carry
things. They are made
up of three long
bones; humerus, ulna,
and radius. Our upper
and lower arm
connects at our elbow.
AaA is for Arm
There are 206 bones in the human body.Bones are used to support our bodies,
protect our organs, and attach to muscles
to help us be able to move.
B is for Bones

The cranium protects the brain and sense organs. It is made up of 22
bones. Our craniums help to form what our faces
looks like.
C is for cranium

DdD is for digest
DIGEST
It takes more than 14
hours for our food to
digest. Digestion breaks
down food into tiny parts
and sends it throughout
our body by the movement
of blood. Digestion also
gets rid of any leftover
parts of food that our body
cannot use.

EYES
Our eyes detect light and allow us to see. They
are as big as a ping-pong ball and they sit in two
holes in the skull. Our eyes even have muscles
that help them move up, down, and sideways.

EeE is for Eyes

FfF is for Foot
Ff
FootYour foot helps you to get around. It has 26
bones in it. Your foot has three parts:
your forefoot, midfoot, and hindfoot.

GgG is for Gums
Our gums protect the root of our teeth and the bones in our mouth. Our gums are pink.
They are made of tissue.

HhH is for Heart
Our Heart pumps blood around
our bodies. It has arteries and
veins. If our Heart does not
pump blood around our bodies,
our bodies will shut down and we
will die. Our Heart beats about
72 times in a minute.

The index finger is used to point.It has 3 bones. These bones are
called distal, middle, and proximal
phalanges. I is for Index Finger

Jj
J is for Jaw
Our jaw forms our mouth
and holds our teeth. It
helps us open and close our
mouths. The jaw helps us
grab food and move it
around in our mouths when
we chew.

KkK is for Kidney


You have 2 kidneys, one on the left and
right side of your middle back. It takes
away nasty things from your blood and
passes it to your urine.


LlL is for Lungs
Lungs move oxygen from the air
that we breathe into our
bloodstream. We have 2 lungs. The
lung that is on the left has 2 parts
and the lung on the right is broken
into 3 parts.

MmM is for Mouth 
The mouth allows us to
talk, smile, frown, and
eat. Our mouth has
teeth, an uvula, tongue,
tonsils, and palate.
There's a soft palate and
a hard palate.

The nose has special
cells that help us smell.
It has 2 nostrils. In
between our nostrils we
have cartilage.We
breathe through our
nose.

N is for Nosea- Cartilageb- Nostril














Organs work together into organ
systems. There are 6 key organ
systems. They are called skeletal,
muscular, nervous, digestive,
respiratory, and circulatory systems.
OoO is for Organs
Pp
Our patella can be called
our kneecap. This is a
thick bone that looks like
a rounded triangle. The
patella covers and
protects our knee joint.

Quadriceps can be called
quads. They are the muscles
on the front of our thighs.
They also connect to our hip
joints. Our quads help us to
stand.


QqQ is for


Rr
Our ribs protect our heart, lungs,and liver. We have 12 pairs
of ribs. Our ribs connect to our
spine. R is for Ribs

Skin is the body's
largest organ.Our
skin protects
bones, muscles,
organs, and it also
protects us from
getting sick. There
are 3 parts of the
skin: epidermis,
dermis, and fatty
tissues.
