
A is for Alligator

Alligators are big reptiles that can't live in salt water. The largest alligator weighed over a thousand pounds.
B Is For Bear

Bears have excellent senses of smell, sight and hearing. Bears care deeply about family members.
C Is For Cat

Cats can jump up to 6x their height and they have a total of 18 toes. There are over 500 million pet cats and they sleep up to 13 - 16 hours a day.
D Is For Dog

A dogs sense of smell is 40x better then humans and they are very good at swimming. Some are very fast and could even beat a cheetah!
E Is For Eagle

There are about 60 eagle species around the world and an eagle helped decide Mexico city's location.
F Is For Fish

Most fish don't have eyelids and they are cold blooded. They breath oxygen, not air.

G Is For Giraffe
Young giraffes hang out in groups until they are 5 months old and they stand up most of the time. Giraffes don't need to sleep much and are super peaceful animals.

H Is For Hedgehog
Hedgehogs are lactose intolerant and they are nocturnal. There are more then one species of hedgehogs and they don't use their eyes to hunt and they use them for seeing outlines of objects.

I Is For Indian Cobra
Indian Cobras can live up to 24 years and they eat wild boars and mongooses. They are VERY venomous.

J Is For Jellyfish
Some Jellyfish are glow in the dark and are the oldest multi-organ animal. Not all jellyfish have tentacles and 150 million people are stung each year!
K Is For Koala

Koalas have fingerprints and don't need to drink much water. Koalas are picky eaters and they have to eat a lot.
L Is For Lion

Lions are the only cats that live in groups and female lions are the main hunters. Lions can get there water from plants and are big eaters.

M Is For Monkey
Monkeys can live up to 10-50 years and monkeys have tails apes don't. Like humans, monkeys have unique fingerprints.

N Is For Narwhal
Narwhals can live up to 50 years and they change colors with age. Their tusks are actually a tooth and narwhal's distinctive tusk are usually found on males.

O Is For Owl
Owls can rotate their necks 270 degrees and not all owls hoot. A group of owls are called a parliament and some owl species hunt fish.

P Is For Pig
Pigs are smarter then dogs and they can say more then oink. pigs have powerful noses and they have excellent memories.
