My story began at NMU, named after O.O. Bogomolets. I came to study in Ukraine from Spain. Here I am looking to be a doctor; in the future, I want to become a surgeon.

I was first interested in the house with chimeras. This is probably the most famous building in Kyiv. The building is located in the current center of Kyiv, not far from the Palace of the President of Ukraine. The building with chimeras was built in the Art Nouveau style in 1902-1903. The building was built in a year, and another two years were spent on its external and internal decoration. The first house in Kyiv was made using a new material - cement.

Both the exterior design of the house and the internal interiors are not repeated anywhere else; they reflected not only the imagination and skill of the architect but also his passion for hunting. From the outside, the house is an unforgettable sight. The facade is richly decorated with figures of real creatures of hypertrophied sizes.

On the way to the next place, I visited the scenic avenue. This is the place where you must take pictures. This is the place for you if you want to take bright, unusual shots. In 2009, as part of the fight against illegal development of the alley, a children's playground with unique characters from "Alice" and other books was created here. Among them are a thirty-meter cat-centipede laid out in mosaic, a children's slide on which you can stick your head out from the Cheshire cat's smile, fountains in the form of elephants and zebras, rabbit benches, and much more.

Mykolaiv Church

Like the House of Chimeras, the building of the National Art Museum, and the Karaite Canada, the Mykolaiv Church belongs to the creations of the architect Vladyslav Horodetskyi, who boldly experimented with historical styles.

Rusaniv fountains

I liked this place in the capital of Ukraine the most, especially in the evening; it is very tempting. The complex of 15 light-musical fountains is located in the waters of the Rusanivka Canal, artificially created in the late 1970s, when Rusanivka was being developed - a new, at that time, modern residential area on the Left Bank of the Dnieper. A promenade was designed for walking and recreation, decorated with "geysers," the jets rising directly from the water pool to a height of up to 30 meters.

My excursion ended in St. Sophia's Cathedral. St. Sophia of Kyiv has a thousand-year history. It was built during the time of Yaroslav the Wise - the marble sarcophagus from his burial has been preserved to this day. The interior of Sofia impresses with ancient frescoes and mosaics.

My trip turned out to be quite interesting. I think this is only the beginning because I still have a long time to study medicine. I will share my emotions with you in the following books.
