There was once an Empire ruled by an intelligent emperor, King David of the Stocktondale Empire. This empire was the largest in the world because King David successfully conquered the nearby kingdoms of Manteca, Lathrop, Linden, Tracy, and Weston Ranch. King David’s next target to conquer was Lodiville. Once he conquered Lodiville, he would have complete control of half of the world with no neighboring kingdoms being any type of threat to his empire.

     King David’s war to conquer Lodiville started like his other wars: with surveying the territory for products he can sell to the rest of his kingdom. King David found a vast apple orchard within the confines of Lodiville, protected by a small herd of sheep. The King wadded through the sea of sheep to the shiniest, reddest apple he could see. “This is a superb apple!” the King proclaimed. “I must have the best one!” The King plucked the apple from the tree and took a bite. It was the sweetest apple he had ever tasted. “These are the best apples in all the land and they shall be mine!” the king proclaimed. As he took another bite, the apple started tasting different; saltier and more sour. 

    He realized that this apple was poisoned. He rapidly began to feel really sick and nauseous which led him to faint. A native of Lodiville saw the King suffering and went to go check on him. This woman, named Rebecca, realized that he had eaten the poisonous apple as she saw it on the ground beside him. Realizing that the King needed assistance immediately, Rebecca began to rub a magic potion on him that would cure this poison. The King quickly woke up feeling healthier than ever. He thanked the woman and soon realized that it was pointless to continue the conquering of Lodiville. 

    King David extended his apologies to the King of Lodiville, King Steve Solomon, and asked him to forget his act of war against their kingdom. In addition, he asked the King of Lodiville if he wanted to join their empire so they could rule the Western hemisphere together. King Steve Solomon accepted the invitation and the Kingdom of Stocktondale became the largest and most powerful kingdom of all time. The Kingdom of Stocktondale lasted another 300 years, full of peaceful prosperity, before its collapse.
