"IF I LIVE BEFORE INDEPENDENCE                    My first day out of my mother's womb would be terrifying, I will hear sounds of bombs that will make me startled. I'll grow up so hungry because the food is little, in all of that my parents will be desperate to find food. I will have sad life, all around me people struggle to live and hope for independence, the cruelty of colonizers are so bad. When I was a kid I don't have time for fun I need to help my parents planting peddy and tapioca. Sometimes colonizers come to our house asking for money and food, although we don't want to give them but we have to unless we got arrested. I never had a chance to learn how to read or write, it is just strange that I can write now.
