Hi! I would like to try the special menu for today, please.

                                Pisto Manchego

                           Ingredients:

                              2 courgettes

                              1 onion

50 milliliters of sweet sherry

1 red bell pepper

Cayenne pepper

oregano

1 green bell pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

a splash of olive oil

2 garlic

750 grams of tomato sauce

salt and pepper 

Churros españoles

Ingredientes:

500 milliliters of water

500 grams of wheat flour

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 liter olive oil, for frying

white sugar and cinamon, for dusting

                              1. Combine water, 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt,                               and baking powder in a small saucepan. Heat                                 until it boils and forms foam. Remove from heat                              and pour over flour in bowl. Stir well with a                                    wooden spoon until you have a firm dough.

2. Fill the churrera (or pastry bag with a wide star tip) with the dough, and press with your hands to remove the air.

3. Heat 1 liter of olive oil in a deep skillet or work. Form churros between 15 and 20 centimeters long. Fry in hot oil until golden brown. Avoid overcrowding the churros pan.

4. Remove the browned churros from the oil and drain them on paper towels. Place them on a plate and sprinkle them with white sugar.

5. Enjoy your churros accompanied by hot chocolate or coffee.
