Lady Bug Wonderland

Once upon a time in lady bug
wonderland lived a very shy, very
cute, and very happy lady bug
named Abby. She was bright red
and the cutest thing ever. She loved
her mom, school, and her favorite
cousin Jake.

One time after a long day at school, she was relaxing
up in her room. Sitting there reading a book, she all of
the sudden heard her mom call out “Abby! Come down
here, someone is here to see you.” Running down the
stairs only to see her favorite cousin Jake standing in
the living room. Jake was eight and a troublemaker
but the only bug that could make Abby speak for more
than 2 seconds. “Jake!” she screamed. “What are
you doing here?” she asked. He responded with “ I live
here now, I’ll be going to Lady Bug Elementary with
you.” “No way!” she yelled in excitement. She
couldn’t believe it, her cousin the only person who she
could be herself around was going to school with her.

Abby then went to bed early that day, extremely
happy to go wake up and walk to school with Jake.
Waking up the next morning in a great mood. Abby
rushed getting ready and eating breakfast to meet
up with Jake. Walking out her door Jake was
waiting for Abby outside. Jake knew how shy and
sweet Abby was, he loved it because it was easy to
get her to things she didn’t normally do without
him. Halfway to school Jake said “Hey! You know
what would be awesome?” “What?” replied Abby.
“Let’s go get berries!” Demanded Jake. “No, we’ll
be late for class.” Said Abby. “Chicken” cried Jake.
Following Jake to the berry tree, Abby was no
chicken.

Showing up an hour late for class, Abby was scared
knowing she was going to get a note to send home
and be signed. She then went crying to Jake about
it at free time, she sat next to him on the swings “I
got a note for my mom to sign..” Cried Abby. “ A
note? For what” Asked Jake. “For being late JAKE!”
Yelled Abby. “Oh, I didn’t.” Jake said calmly. “How
not?” Abby said surprised. “ I’m new, I have the “ I
got lost “ excuse.” Said Jake. “ What do I do
then!!” Screamed Abby. “ Calm down jumpy, just
sign it for your mom.” Said Jake. “ I can do that?”
Wondered Abby. “Yes.” he said. Happy, Abby took
out the note and signed it. “Kay, don’t give it to
Mrs. Shelly until tomorrow.” Said Jake. Running
back to class she replied back with “okay.”
