In the last remaining forest of the world...
Po, the young panda lay gazing the night sky..
remembering mom's bedtime stories.....
about friends who come from heaven..
He liked all stories about friends because...
..he was very lonely
apart for his two
friends...

Grow, the giraffe..
Booh, the boar..
Little did he know that he grew lonely because the forest
was being cleared, and very few animals and trees now
remained..Booh and Grow told Po what was happening..

I will dig a tunnel deep enough for us..so that we can run away

I will climb into a low flying cloud, with both of youon my shoulders..so that we can float away

I will have friends coming from the heaven to help us out..and we will go with them..

None of them was quite impressed with each others plans..but they did not
say it..all of them decided to get started with the tasks they had assigned
for themselves..they promised to hoot to let others know once their tasks is
achieved..
The hardworking Booh dug a cave..

Grow climbed on top of a mountain, expecting to spot a low flying
cloud..he practiced climbing into clouds all day..

The ambitious Grow waited for clouds..
Only the lazy and romantic Po squandered time, watching sky all
night from his treetop hangout, and slept all day long.
Though Grow and Booh were unhappy with this, they kept mum. But they
were in for a shock very next day. The first hoot came from Po!

During his
mid-day
nap, Po
woke up
rubbing
his eyes
in
disbelief
as he saw
somethin
g
approachi
ng..an air
balloon!
Booh and Grow saw Po running to the balloon, but stopped him mid-way..they headed tothe tunnel that Booh had dug and watched. How wise! It was the woodcutters and hunters......

They decided to
escape through the
cave, but the bats,
ants, and snakes
had already
stormed the
place..the cave
could hold no
more..they took
kind to the animals
and left the cave
for them..
Grow had tied a cloud to the top of the mountain, but by the time
they reached, all the birds, bees, and insects had swarmed the cloud,
waiting for their escape flight..

Now what?, the depressed friends asked..
Suddenly, Po suggested casually: "Let's take the air balloon!"
Yes, that was it!! The only option left now for the animals. As the
human hunters and woodcutters were busy with their tasks, the
friends sneaked into the balloon, and took off!

The hunters ran behind..
but in vain..
