Benny Imura and one of his friends is trying to find a job in 

the town that he lives in during the zombie apocalypse 

because if they don't most of their food rations will be taken 

away. His brother Tom wants to go into the zombie hunting 

business but Benny wants no part of that. after trying many 

jobs Benny's friend Chong gets a job but Benny is left out 

and has not job. With no other choice Benny asks Tom if he 

can teach him about zombie hunting.    

The next morning they set out to the rot and ruin which is 

just a bombed out wast-land of a city that got destroyed on 

the first night. On there way to were they need to get going. 

during that time Tom teaches Benny that "zombies are not 

just plain monsters and that they had lives too at one point 

but a disease took that away from them." when they finally 

got to the house where the alleged zombie was at the when 

into the house and quieted the zombie because that's what 

the family members for the zombie wanted to happen.    

On there way back Benny has mixed feelings about what 

happened in the house and what tom said about zombies. 

Then they heard gun shots and that's when benny found out 

who the real monsters are out in the Rot and Ruin, when they 

found out who was shooting and seen what was going on 

Benny was angry he seen other zombie hunters tying zombies 

to wooden posts and shooting chunks off of them and one 

hunter round house kicked one too. But there was nothing 

Tom could do so they headed back to town.

When they get back to the town of Mountain Side Benny and 

his friends open a pack of zombie cards they are kind of like 

baseball cards but there is not a lot of baseball after the 

zombie outbreak. One card strikes Benny's eye they card is 

called "The Lost Girl" is shows a girl that looks a little older 

than Benny with a spear made out of a metal pipe and a USMC 

combat knife. Benny thinks there is a hidden story about this 

card so he searches for the artist who made it.  

Now that he found the artist who was one of the people Benny 

tryed to get a job from called Rob Sacchetto tells him about 

the Lost Girl and her story like how she wanders in the Rot and 

Ruin and survives on her own he also says that she cant talk 

because she destroyed her voice at a young age after seeing 

her mom die after giving child birth to her younger sister who 

is dead after escaping a place called the Z-Games.   

When Benny leaves the artist house he gets stopped by 

Charlie-Pink Eye and Motor City Hammer and they want Benny 

to hand over the card and also threaten him so benny loses all 

respect for them and then Tom comes in and breaks up the 

argument and takes benny back home.  

During the night Benny and Tom got attacked by the dead 

artist and find out he was murdered by Pink Eye and the 

Hammer then they rush to Nix's house who is one of Benny's 

friends and she got kid napped and her mother was beaten to 

death  

When they finally meet up with Pink Eye and Motor City 

Hammer a battle on the side of a Mountain which results in 

Charlie Pink Eye getting shot and Motor City Hammer getting 

hit in the face with his own weapon by Benny and then falling 

off the mountain.
