Numa rua escura e assustadora, a Morte passava com a sua grande ave azulada. No seu caminho, avistou uma maleta e, por sua vez, um grupo de criaturas que seguiam umas atrás das outras.

A Morte aproxima-se e pergunta se a mala pertence a algum dos elementos integrantes do grupo, mas os mesmos afirmam que não e prosseguem o caminho. A Morte decide, então, segui-los um pouco à distância.

In a dark and frightening street, Death was passing with his great bird. On his way, he saw a suitcase and, in turn, a group of creatures following each other.
Death approaches and asks if the suitcase belongs to one of the members of the group, but they say "no" and continue on their way. Death decides, then, to continue the way, following them a little at a distance.

As criaturas migrantes faziam-se acompanhar das suas maletas, que tinham alimentos e bens para a sua viagem. As criaturas instalam-se e preparam uma refeição. Comem e descansam.

O caminho é longo e sombrio. É preciso manter a coragem e a esperança.

The migrant creatures were accompanied by their suitcases, which had food and objects for their trip. The creatures settle in and prepare a meal, they eat and have some rest. The path is long and dark. It is necessary to keep courage and hope.

Enquanto dormem, a Morte fala com um urso que acompanha o grupo. O dia nasce e o grupo avista um barco de madeira, frágil, tal como a vida daqueles seres que vão em busca de uma nova vida.

Embarcam sem medo…finalmente, o caminho para um país que os acolha, em paz. Mas o mar é terrível e o barco é frágil e pequeno para tanta gente!

O inevitável acontece! O barco naufraga e, quando chegam a terra nem todos sobrevivem.

A Morte acompanha o ser que não resistiu e o resto do grupo tem de continuar a sua viagem, tristes pela perda. Mas para surpresa de todos, no fim do caminho sombrio, encontram luz, cor e vida. Finalmente, chegam ao seu destino: um lugar onde há PAZ e abundância.

As they sleep, Death speaks to a bear that accompanies the group. The day is born and the group sees a wooden boat, fragile, just like the lives of those beings that go in search of a new life.

They embark without fear…finally, the way to a country that may welcome them in peace. But the sea is terrible and the boat is fragile and small for so many people.

The inevitable happens! The boat sinks and when they reach land not all survive.

Death accompanies the being that did not resist and the rest of the group must continue their journey, saddened by their loss. But to everyone's surprise, at the end of the dark path, they find light, color and life. Finally, they arrive at their destination: a place where there is PEACE and abundance.
