"Wake up, Rapunzel! It's Christmas Eve! So that means Santa will come tonight!" "Weally?" Rapunzel asked. "Yes! He really will!" Winnie jumped up and down. "Girls! Breakfast!" Their mama called. "Coming mom!" Winnie and Rapunzel yelled. 

Rapunzel is 3, and Winnie is 11. Oh, and those are their dogs Fudge and Howl. Fudge was bought last week. Fudge is a brown collie. Howl is a husky.

"Mom, what's for breakfast?" Winnie asked when she reached the kitchen. "Eggs and pancakes!" "Yummy!" Rapunzel said, as she toddled to her seat. "Aren't you coming to eat with us, Winnie?" her dad asked, as he grabbed his plate. "Yes. Just not that egg!" "Why not?" "Because it hurts my stomach. And I don't like eggs." "How about with some toast?" "No." "Okay then. Rapunzel will eat it." "Fine." Dad fed Rapunzel Jamie's egg. "Yum,  yum, yum!" Rapunzel said, clapping her hands.

"I'll just eat the pancakes." Winnie said. She sat down at a seat, and ate her pancakes. She got 2 more, and after that, she sat down on a couch. She was warm from the fire, and cozy. Winnie decided to watch TV, so she got up to find the hidden remote. She found it underneath the couch, after 5 minutes of looking. Then, she sat down, and turned the TV on. There was a Christmas special called "The Very Merry Christmas". 

Then everyone piled into the tree room.

No, n-n-no! Get it off, Rapunzel!

As all the drama was happening, Winnie ran upstairs to her own room. She decided to play her flute. Winnie got her music notes on a stand, and played her flute. Her song was "Jingle Bells". Winnie closed her eyes as she played it, and she listened to her heart to know which notes to play. And her ears perked up, instead of drooping down. And she felt good. Flute helped her go into her own little world. But then go back to reality. Fudge even came to listen!

"Good job!" Mom said in the doorway. "Wha- where were you?!" "Oh, first, I noticed you were gone from downstairs. So, I walked towards the staircase and heard a flute playing. It was loud, and I knew you had it in your room, so I knew it wasn't a video. I walked upstairs to listen, and waited here for 20 minutes to say hooray!" "Oh, okay." Winnie put her flute away, and she read a book.

"Honey, your cousins are here!" "Yay!" Jamie ran downstairs, and sprinted over to her cousin. "Hi Marian! How are you?!" "I'm good! And I'm excited to hear you play the flute!" "WHAT?!" *Giggle* "I'm excited, too! So, when are you gonna start?" "Oh! Uhm... Uh... OH! I'm gonna start it after dinner. It'll be a... Uuhhhh... OH! It'll be an after-dinner surprise!" Jamie said to Marian. "Oh, okay! I can't wait!" "Uh-huh! I am, too!" Jamie said nervously. 

"C'mon! I'm gonna show you our playroom where we can play with my L.O.L. Doll house! And I have TONS of L.O.L. dolls and O.M.G. dolls in there!" "Okay!" Jamie led Marian to the playroom.

While the girls played in the playroom, Rapunzel played chase with Tina. And the parents spoke about work. 

"Look who's here!" 2 old voices said as the front door opened. "Grandma, Grandpa!" All the grandchildren said. Rapunzel, Tina, Marian, and  Jamie, all ran to their grandparents, Ren and Mary. "Konichiwa!" Grandpa Ren said. Grandpa Ren is from Japan.

"Okay kids. You all get back to what you were doing." "Okay!" Everyone ran to what they were doing.  "Mmm-mmm! That ham smells delicious! Wait till you try it with my mom's homemade brown sugar ham glaze! It makes the ham taste DELICIOUS!!!! I'm so excited for you to try it!" "You just EXPLAINING it makes me feel hungry!" Marian's tummy growled, as if to agree. The girls giggled. "Hey, let's do a tour of my mansion!" "Okay! That sounds so fun, because I'll get to know where things are in your house!" "Yeah!" 

The girls started upstairs, where the main hallway was between each set of rooms.
