This story talks about Carmen, the potato omelette, who wanted to be a very famous detective and travel around her world. She was a very intelligent potato omelette that liked to meet different kinds of new foods.

The story takes place in the dining room of a nice Spanish family.  This family was originally from Sevilla, Andalucia, in the south of Spain. All the family liked traditional dances like sevillanas, "olé!" and every weekend they practised after lunch.

           Once upon a time, there was a potato omelette that became alive. It had legs and arms and it fell off the plate. He found a serrano ham. He also located a plate of crumbs that were sad for having been crushed, the happy gazpacho, because they were going to drink it since he did not want to live. Suddenly, he saw the grandfather Paco making a good oxtail and grandmother Pilar making some delicious patatas bravas that were taking a bath of sauce made of mustard, ketchup, hot sauce and brava sauce ..te

Oh, hello.....hello.....this will be SOOOO good....olalala...

Chapter 2

The potato omelette felt a little worried. What was going to happen next?

Was there going to be a big party because all this food was being prepared?

A moment later the doorbell rang, many voices were heard. At the same time, the clock on the oven rang. Who was there now? Help!

I'm scared!

Grandfather Paco went to open the door. There was his son, Nico, standing outside the door with two other kids. Nico was more muscular and fatter than before. It was his birthday,  but he didn't know that his parents were preparing a surprise party for him. He was a champion and he could eat 10 omelettes in 20 seconds. Meanwhile, grandmother Pilar came out from the kitchen holding a Greek dish called "Moussaka". Carmen was terrified of Nico because he could eat her in two seconds. She was also scared of the Moussaka for the reason that she had never seen a Greek dish before.

Oh, nooo!

Chapter 4

Nico saw Carmen and commented on how delicious it looked. Carmen heard what Nico said and became really scared and worried. 

She didn't know what to do, so she just started running toward granny Pilar and pushed her. Moussaka fell out of her hand and they both started running.  Nico was terribly hungry and he started chasing them. Luckily, they managed to get away from him. And so they hid...

I saw them running in the bathroom.

Chapter 5 

Carmen hid under the desk Moussaka under the bed. Unfortunately, Nico arrived.  Carmen and Moussaka were afraid. Oscar the cat helped them.

He said to Nico a lie: "I saw them running in the bathroom". While Nico was running in the bathroom, the Cat called his mistress asking what she wanted to do with Carmen and Moussaka.

She brought them again into the kitchen and hid them in a secret place.

Chapter 6 

And then Paco entered in the room and saw  that Nico was hiding under the table and Moussaka was hiding under the bed. Paco ate the omelette, but it was discomposed, so Paco felt dizzy. 

Few minutes later, Pilar arrived into the room and ... Paco was unconcious on the floor!!

Chapter 7 

Finally...

Sarah wakes up in her bed with a smile! What was this funny dream she had? Think what your mind can do when you sleep. But, of course it would have been good with some omelette or moussaka :)
