Their once was a fish named Joey, he was a beautiful fish
composed of many vibrant colors, such as red, green, blue
and yellow.

Joey lived in a plain blue river, with a gentle current and shiny
rocks along the bottom. This forest was located in a luscious
green forest, as green as a slimy tree frog. This forest had
wonderful plant life, and a large diversity of animals everywhere.

Joey had a natural fascination with birds, he would watch them all
day long flying carelessly through the air. Joey thought that this
would be the best feeling in the world, he longed to be a bird so
that he could fly through the air, but he was just a lowly fish
destined to spend his life in the water.

Until one day Joey decided that maybe he could fly, if he
swam upwards with enough force he could break the
surface and fly through the air. Joey began to do this
everyday, flying through the air getting higher and higher
everyday, but he was still not happy he could not fly
carelessly in the air like the birds, and the acts of jumping
out of the water exhausted him. Joey decided that he
needed more of a flying experience and decided to fly over
the nearby water fall and land into the pool below. Joey started
far back in the river and and gained as much speed as possible
and when he reached the begining of the waterfall he shot out of
the waterfall like a cannon, flying through the air carelessly and
happy, just like a bird.

When the fish landed he realized he was further down the river
than he has ever been before. In this part of the river he saw an
animal he has never seen before, a snake slithering on land he was
not trapped in the water nor in the air he was free to go where he
wanted. At this moment the fish no longer wanted to be a bird, but
instead a snake.

The fish kept going back to this part of the river everyday just to
watch these snakes slither. Wanting to be a snake more and more
everyday. Until one day Joey thought to himself I watch these
snakes every day maybe I can slither like these beautiful snakes. So
he came up with a plan to go to the softest yellow beach with the
most beautiful sand you will ever see, and slither on land like a snake

A week passed and Joey decided it was time to put his plan into
action, so he gathered up speed and shot up out of the water like a
bird, but only this time he landed outside of the water on the bright
sand, and he started to slither like the snakes he so often watched.
He slithered up off of the shore and onto the grass, but then he
realized he could not breath out of the water.

He tried to slither back towards the water, but he could not slither
in the grass. He started to struggle, but he realized he had no
chance, he was gonna die on the beach, and all because he wanted to
be a snake rather than a fish. However he got lucky a old scraggly
man with a white beard and torn clothes happened to be walking the
beach and saw the struggling fish and put him back into the water.

Joey swam back to his home and started to rejoice, he realized
that he is not a bird, and he is not a snake and decided he can be
happy just being a fish like he is.
