Dedicated to all the lost souls of the suicidal ones who succumbed to the temptation of falling down.
Based on a true story.

"Are we almost there?,"
I enthusiastically asked my mother.

"OK Mom,"
I replied a little bit dissapointed.
"Gina, if you keep insisting, we'll never get there," my mother said.
I had to be patient since we were traveling to visit my aunt Deisy's farm in La Vega, two hours away from Soacha, my hometown.
Although my dad knew that La Vega wasn't that far, he had no clue on how to arrive. Therefore, he decided to use Google Maps.
"Keep going straight," Google Assistant suggested and my father obeyed the directions from the App.
"Turn right," the voice added. However, we noticed that there was no road on the right side. "It's a bug, everything will be alright," my father remarked and continued driving straight.
The sky was beginning to cloud and I felt we had lost our way. Indeed, at some point, we had to turn back because, according to the application, we had gone too far.
When we were supposedly back on the right road, Google Assistant said
"continue for 8000 meters" but, the road was extremely lonesome.
The fog was getting thicker and thicker that we could barely see anything. Besides, large trees were blocking the view, so we did not exactly know where we were at.
Then, we have arrived next to a big old mansion.
Apparently that was not the appropriate way. We wanted to turn back; however, the fog was so thick that we couldn't go anywhere.
My father pulled over next to the mansion waiting for the weather to change. To spent some time, my parents decided to go out and take pictures in the heavy mist.
We were forced to stay there.
Something caught my father's attention.
Everything was fine until...

"Is that what I think it is?," my father asked worriedly.
"What? I see anything," my mother scrunched up her eyes to see if she could get a better look.
"It is a person standing on the fence," he repplied, "If he takes one more step, he's going to fall off".
"NO, WAIT! Orlando, come here! where are you going?" my mother shouted as my father started to run.
"It's a person! Believe me, I must save him! He called for help!" my father answered as he took giant steps. He hoped to reach the balcony on time to avoid the tragedy itself.
When he arrived at the balcony, he saw nothing but an empty place. There was absolutely nobody there! My father was so confused. He thought he needed to rest.
Suddenly, he saw human figures emerge from the edge of the balcony.
They were ghosts of those who committed suicide!
They were trying to recruit my Dad.
My father started to run looking backwards. He couldn't believe his eyes! They were chasing him, so he had to get in to the car as soon it was possible.
