This book is dedicated to all people who have exalted Vallenato music and have positioned it as one of the best genres in the world.

Every region has a remarkable legend that represents the culture of its people. In this opportunity, I would like to tell you about one of the most impressive legends in the history of Vallenato music, the most representative musical genre of my region "Valledupar, Cesar."

On a summer afternoon, Francisco Antonio and I were sitting down under a leafy mango tree. Francisco adorned the warm evening with the majestic melodies of his accordion that reach deep into the soul.
The night was falling and Francisco continued to accompany the night with his beautiful musical notes.
“I think it is time to go back home,” I said to him.
Francisco nodded his face in affirmation. Then, he stood up and we set out on the path to home. While we were walking, we sang and laughed of everything.
However, something strange happened. Suddenly, we heard the sound of an accordion that stopped our walk. It seemed as if another person playing the accordion was challenging him.
“Did you hear that? Nobody else in the town is capable of playing the accordion in such an impressive way.” Francisco said.
Amazed, Francisco and me decided to let ourselves be carried away by the melody until we found where this sound came from.
After several minutes of searching for the origin of the melody, Francisco saw in the distance a man who was challenging him to a singing contest to the rhythm of the accordion.
"Look over there!" Francisco said pointing at an oak.
This was effectively a tall man who wore a large cloak covering his entire body. His physical appearance was rare. He was Satan.
I looked around me, the night began to become darker and darker, and a smell of sulfur began to permeate the place.
