There was a young boy who was mad about 

science. He absolutely loved it and was always 

testing experiments to eventually perfect 

them. His name is Xavier. One day Xavier and 

four of his friends were mixing liquids to make 

a small eruption. They almost never messes 

up, but this time they did. One of the liquids 

had a chemical in it that Xavier didn't know 

about. Xavier poured the first liquid into the 

same glass cup as the second liquid. At first, 

nothing happened and they were 

disappointed, but

then the liquid started to turn all sorts of 

colors. The teens were all in awe and 

fascinated by it. A couple seconds later the 

glass shattered and the liquid inside 

expanded into what looked like a visible 

gas spreading through the air. It was still 

changing colors and became really thick. 

They felt like they couldn't breathe and 

they're ears started to fill with a high pitch 

sound. The waves frequency was so high 

their ears started to ring. While this thick 

cloud was filling their body's it made them 

light as air, and they weren't touching the

floor anymore. It seemed

like hours to them, but it 

was only minutes. All of a 

sudden the thick cloud of 

colors shrunk into nothing. 

Xavier and his four friends 

fell to the floor. Everyone's 

limbs felt like jello, and it 

took them a minute to be 

able to stand again. 

Xavier and his friends were finally able to 

get up. Xavier said, "Let's meet here 

tomorrow to make sure we're all okay. 

Okay?" His friends all agreed and drove 

home. They all felt weird, but they're not 

sure what this 

exposure did to 

them. Each of them                                

promised to be at                        

school the next day

to figure this out.

All 5 of the friends showed up at school 

the next day as promised. This day wasn't 

just weird and exciting because they are 

discovering new things about themselves. 

They are realizing the freak of nature that 

happened in the lab had an effect on their 

bodies. They all 

changed in 

different ways, 

because now, 

they all have 

super powers. 

Xavier gained the powers of radio waves 

and microwaves. Just like how the radio 

picks up radio waves, Xavier can pick up 

people's thoughts and sounds from far 

away. The microwaves give Xavier heat. If 

he places his hand on you, he could cook 

you from the inside out.

James power is infrared wave. He doesn't 

give off these waves, he receives them and 

absorbs them. When James absorbs the 

heat he can use it and transfer it to his 

hands. When it reaches his hands it 

becomes boiling hot. He can make rays 

burst out of his hand, and they can burn 

anything.
