On September 11, 2001 many people were 

walking upon the streets of New York not 

knowing what was going to happen that 

morning.

On that Tuesday morning Sophia Michelson    

just an 

ordinary 6 year old kissed her dad on 

the cheek never knowing that would be the last 

time she would do that.  

As she got on the bus her

 dad Ryan waved to her and while climbing up 

the stairs of the bus Sophia looked and gave 

him a big wave back.

While outside at school with her friends 

Sophia, Connor, James, 

and Hanna they heard a plane coming across 

the sky little did they know that it was a very 

dangerous plane. 

As Sophia was out at recess she heard the fire 

trucks and people screaming urgently their 

teacher rushed them to the 

inside of the building and Sophia nervously 

looked out the window knowing her Dad works 

there. 

As she look out she could see people jumping 

as the building was collapsing and being 

engulfed with flames

As Sophia looked out the window she started to 

sob and cry Ms. Riley asked what what was 

wrong, Sophia took her face out of her hands 

and told Ms. Riley her Dad worked there.
