¨I am so excited about science class today!!¨
¨Me too!!
That day at school, Mrs. Camryn told the science class they were going to be doing a presentation in front of the class at the end of the week. Lola and Corinna seemed to be super excited about presenting in front of the class. Aria seemed to stay quiet and not say much about the presentation

Today's task: Start working on your project, presentations start on Monday!

That night, the three girls decided to hang out and work on their projects. Lola and Corinna noticed Aria being very quiet and distant. They asked her if she was okay and she responded with ¨I am really nervous to present in front of the class, I hate talking in front of people, I am shaking thinking about it.¨ Lola and Corinna blatantly told Aria that she was overreacting and they continued working.

¨I don't even know what to write about, I do not want to do this.¨
¨You are fine Aria.¨

Aria made no progress on her project that night and asked the girls to leave her house. Arias mother then asked Aria if she was ready to eat dinner. She responded¨No, I am extremely nauseous and my stomach is upset.¨ Aria was telling her mother how she was so nervous that she felt sick, her mother did not believe her.

¨You are eating dinner, I don't care.¨

The next day was Friday, this was the last day for the girls to work on their projects in class. Aria went up to Mrs. Camryn and told her she had nothing done on her project because she was scared to do it. Mrs Camryn proceeded to tell her she had to do it and present it in order to get a grade.

¨Unless you wanna fail, you have to do this!¨
Last day for project time!!
Aria comes home that night with tears streaming down her face while worrying about her project. Her mother asks her what's wrong and Aria responds¨I am so nervous about my presentation, I feel sick and shaky thinking about it.¨ Her mother tells her that it could be anxiety. This word would stick with her forever.

¨Honey, I think you have anxiety¨
