Why do we need a government?

We need a government to help us work as a society to make laws. We need some law and

 order to have a good community.

What is a Democracy and who holds the power?

In a Democracy the citizens vote for leaders. The people in the country hold the power by electing their leaders. 

A long time ago the Founding Fathers created the Constitution so the United States would have an outline of how to work. 

The Three parts of the Constitution:

The Premable - This is important because it tells us what the Constituion is all about.

The Articles - This is important because it tells us how the government is ran and how to change the Constitution. 

Amendments - These are important so we can make changes as time goes by. If we need different or newer laws we can change those.
