TR#3 ?'sHow are the ideas and information presented
CONNECTED to what you already knew?
What new ideas did you get that EXTENDED or
pushed your thinking in new directions?
What is still CHALLENGING or confusing for you to
get your mind around? What questions, wonderings or
puzzles do you now have?

Connect #1Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligence Theory
provides alternatives to our past educational
practices as does the incorporation of
technology into the field of education via
Mobile learning, MTV, and using social sites as
an extension of the classroom.

Connect #2The world is rapidly changing and
progressing heavily towards being more
technology driven. It makes perfect sense
for the P21 to advocate equipping our
students with the necessary knowledge and
skills of a successful 21st century employee
and citizen.

Extend #1Educational social network sites, Web 2.0's,
and educational mobile apps have changed the
face of the educational experience. As a result
I have begin implementing the above in my
personal classroom experiences with my
students via: using QR codes to great papers at
home, link to enrichment information on a
particular subject, as well as communicate with
students outside the classroom as a means of
scaffolding with rigorous lessons.

Extend #2Through the use of PLN, I have been
able to retrieve new and innovative
ideas to incorporate in my classroom
environment, as well as provide some of
the easier ways to increase student
engagement with the use of Web 2.0's
in the classroom.

Extend #3In the classroom environment, HOTS has
been a troublesome area for me,
especially with differentiating those skills
amongst students. However, with the
integration of using Web 2.0's and MTV,
HOTS has been much easier. Students
have been creating flow charts,
presentations, and etc. allowing me as a
teacher to develop and evaluate their
HOTS more efficiently.
