The first cat to ever go to space.

“Are You Ready Barbie?” Sally stroked my back as I lay down in her lap. Despite the fact we were in a space shuttle that was ready to go to space, I felt at home. Sally could barely keep her eyes open, she was up all night just thinking about this big day- Sally dreamed of this day. Just when Sally was about to sleep, a loud DING startled her so much that I almost fell off her lap.
“Barbie! I can’t believe it! We're going to space! Quick! Get a seatbelt!” I almost couldn’t process what Sally was saying, but as soon as she patted the seat right next to her, I crawled onto the seat that seemed to be fitted to my liking. She buckled me in. This time, I didn’t feel at home. The pressure of the space shuttle going up felt so bad, I felt like we were going to be smashed into pieces in seconds.

Only 3 others were with me on this flight. A worker with glasses glued to his face, a girl with curly hair, and Sally. Sooner or later, the time had come. The shuttle hit a sudden stop and jerked all of us to almost stand up. Everyone looked like they were about to puke. Just then we had been informed to leave the rocket. Everyone was already ready, including me and a little space helmet. We made our way to the spaceship.
Once everyone got on the ship, we collapsed from pure exhaustion.
I gasped and woke up to be in a room with all sorts of different equipment. I could hear Sally calling my name. I got up and tried to move. Instead of a peaceful walk toward Sally's voice, I floated across the room. Oh yeah. I forgot that gravity was different up here. I think I heard Sally talking to someone about that.
Learning how to move around was difficult, I had tried to just push off walls without bonking into anything important, trying to swim like a human, and all sorts of different ways. My mind had gone completely blank. Just then sally went by and saw me,” Barbie! Why didn’t you come? Don’t tell me you got distracted by the monkeys.” say what now? What the heck are monkeys? Well if Sally knows about them they must be real.
I pushed back off the wall and ran into Sally's arms. She then laughed and led me to a sort of test room.
Just then I saw the guy with glasses, however, he didn’t seem as enthusiastic about finally being on board the space station, in fact, he looked so nervous he was shaking all over. I was about to tell Sally, who seemed to be taking the leadership role, but it seemed wrong to make him have his troubles. So I just sat there and looked him dead in the eyes, but then Sally started talking about the others and broke me from my extreme concentration.

“This is Adam, he’s the one who does good in space walks, this is Rochelle she was the one who flew up with us,she does good in studying things especially with life so you might be meeting her a lot, oh and and!”
“I think that's enough sally, how about your cat just learns about us while she meets us.” There stood the tallest man in the world, He was towering over us like a mountain. He had a smug face and obviously was already here before. ”Sally, get to work, the work here piles up quickly so it's just a suggestion.” As much as I wanted to scratch him for saying that, sally seemed to take his *unneeded* suggestion.
As I was roaming around the work lab, I kept on seeing that one person, I heard his name was James. He kept on sweating and shaking while he was working on how different elements react to space. Each time I tried to come near him, he would leap like something was about to attack him. Maybe it was that he thought his research was really nerve racking? Time went by fast, and it was already time for everyone to eat.
“C’mon this food isn’t that bad, plus if you want any other food you can just ask NASA , and in the next month you’ll be eatin' like you’re in a completely different place!” There was Rochelle, talking to that nervous guy with glasses, there he was eating soup in a bag. Based on his expressions, he thought the soup tasted disgusting, spitting it out only to remember that gravity in space works weird here.
After a couple of days, things started to get a bit dull. Rochelle was sad because her freeze-dried ice cream was gone, but she was more worried because she couldn’t find anything to snack on, and she loves her snacks. In this case, everyone was lending food to her at this point, and supplies were starting to run out. All fear started to set in, and when someone was asked if they had been stealing the food, they would all say no. Even that tall man from before started to feel panic sink in.

its not THAT bad
