What happened after once upon a time...

Cinderella sat with her ankles crossed and her hands in her lap. Her naturally platinum blond hair
shone against the blazing sun. Her scarlet lips stood out against her pale skin. Her usually excited
hazel eyes were filled with boredom. She was in a meeting with the Council Ladies and terribly
disinterested. She thought about Prince Charming. He was the most handsome man in the entire
kingdom, and her husband. They ruled the small, but mighty land of Asthania.
Cinderella thought of her step-mother and step-sisters. Her step-sisters had gotten married and left
the kingdom, and she didn’t know what had happened to her step-mother.
“Cinderella, what do you think?” cried a lady that Cinderella barely recognized. “Oh… umm yes?”
Cinderella said hesitantly. She sighed as the ladies continued talking.

Meanwhile, some wicked
actions were taking place in
the kingdoms that no one
knew about. Griselda,
Cinderella’s wicked
stepmother, had been
plotting her revenge on
Cinderella. She just didn’t
know how. She was
walking through the town
square one day when she
saw a Fairy Godmother
showing some people her
new magic wand. It was
her! The Fairy who had
helped Cinderella!
“Guess I won’t need this
anymore,” said the fairy.
She threw her old wand
behind her, and it landed
right in front of Griselda.
She knew exactly what to
do.

Cinderella was on her third time counting all the flowers
in the garden, trying to keep herself entertained with this
meeting droned on.
“Cinderella! Cinderella!” A palace guard came crashing
through the garden. “The prince has been kidnapped!”
The silence was deafening. “You need to come with me
m’am.”

Cinderella had been locked in her room.
She had been locked in her room while
her husband had been kidnapped.
According to the guard, a ferocious
dragon had snuck up on the prince
while he was on a quest and stolen him.
Cinderella paced, trying to come up
with a way to get out of her room.
Suddenly her Fairy Godmother
appeared.
“Hello child! Do you like my new
wand?” she said excitedly.
“Fairy Godmother! I need your help! A
dragon has stolen Prince!”
“A dragon? Why the only thing that
could conjure that would be my- MY
WAND!” she screamed in a panic.
“What?”
“This is my fault, dearie, I’m afraid I
might have accidentally given my old
wand to someone.”
“Who?”
“I am not sure but I saw an old woman
walking away with it. The wand will give
off a signal.’ She handed a small device
to Cinderella, “this will track it.”

Moments later, Cinderella had managed to
sneak out of the palace. She was following
the signal of the wand when she came to
her old house. “I should have known
Griselda was behind this!” Cinderella
muttered to herself. She walked inside and
heard Griselda in the back. She slowly
approached and saw Griselda, a dragon
behind her, and Prince tied to a tree and
gagged.
“Cinderella will be forced to come here and beg for
you back once she learns that I have you kidnapped!
Then once I have you both, I will be able to take over
the kingdom!” She started laughing maniacally.
Cinderella slipped away to behind the tree where
Prince was being held captive. Once Griselda was
distracted she untied the Prince and took his gag out.
“Cindy? What are you doing?” he whispered furiously.
“I’m rescuing you!” she whisper-screamed back,
“Now run!”
