few happy months have passed
between the newly wedded Cinderella and
Prince Charming. The evil stepmother and
equally cruel step sisters still live in their
former mansion in the kingdom, pouting and
despising Cinderella with her success. “Oh
mother,” Drizella the oldest stepsister sighed,
“why do we have to live in such poverty while
Cinderella lives in luxury? There must be
something we can do!” She ruffled her pink
dress and her dark eyes looked eagerly up at her
mother. The stepmother already had a plan in
mind to rid Cinderella of her prosperity. “Drizella, my
darling, how would you like to become the new
princess?” questioned the evil stepmother; her tall, slim
figure and piercing green eyes glinting with mischief.

s the evil stepmother informed
her evil plan to her daughters, the
beautiful Cinderella was completely
content with her life at the castle. One
night after a delicious meal, Cinderella
ventured out to the garden of the castle to
enjoy the fragrant roses. While admiring the
roses’ beauty, a figure appeared from the
shadows. Before Cinderella had time to call
out, the figure snatched her and dragged her
away.

he next morning, the Prince met
with Cinderella and to his surprise noted
that something was wrong. She still
looked the same, the golden hair, fair skin
and twinkling blue eyes, but she did not
act like the gentle and kind Cinderella he
knew. Drizella, the stepsister, had replaced
the real Cinderella and had taken her place
in the castle. Using a powerful spell, she was
planning to get the Prince to fall permanently
in love with her by kissing him before
midnight.

he real Cinderella was locked
in a dark and cold dungeon in the
basement of her previous house.
Sitting upon the cold floor of the
dungeon and thinking all was lost,
Cinderella knew that only one person,
the Fairy Godmother, could help her.
