Once upon a time, there was once a girl living in
the twenty-first century named Ella. Ella had a
stunning physique, has beautiful blond hair, and bright
blue eyes that sparkle when the light hits them.
Ella had two stepbrothers, who were very cruel to
her, one stepmother, and one father, who serves in
the Army Force. Ella and her stepfamily lived in a
beautiful mansion in Los Angeles, California.
Ella’s stepmother always had an evil look on her
face, even when something happy was happening.
She had dark brown hair and her eyes as dark and
empty as space.

Ella was very conflicted because she wanted to
attend the annual Halloween Ball at her school in
California.
She has never attended this ball before,
because her stepmother wants her to focus on
school and nothing else. To attend this ball would
be so special, because Ella would finally feel
included.
Despite this, Ella knows she shouldn’t break the
rules because her stepmother will just have her
work harder in school.

The Halloween Party

When Ella was young, her aunt gave her a special
bracelet that could transport Ella back to her mansion
whenever needed. Ella wore this bracelet everywhere
in case of any dyer situation.
Ella had a strong desire to go to this party;
therefore, she asked her stepmother for permission.
“May I please attend the Halloween party at my
school tonight?” questioned Ella.
Her stepmother rebutted, “No, of course not! You
need to focus on school work at all times!”
Ella felt very discouraged and depressed, but she
risked it anyway.

"NO! Work, work, work!!
"Halloween party?"

The Party
"I like your sneakers."
"Thanks!"

When Ella arrived at the party, there
were streamers and party balloons
everywhere. She immediately went to find
her friends. Suddenly a cute boy began to
walk towards her.
“Hi, I’m John, I've seen you around and
you seem nice,” he said.
“Hi, I’m Ella, same to you,” she said
blushing.
They danced together for the whole
night.

Ella’s curfew was nine-o’-clock, which was
when her stepmother would come into her room to
check if she is in bed. It was eight-fifty-nine.
Ella gazed down at her watch and realized it
was her curfew; therefore, touched her magical
bracelet, and coasted back home.
Unfortunately, in the transportation, Ella lost
her sneaker, which John found. In her room, Ella
quickly undressed and hopped in bed before her
stepmother could see, not noticing her sneaker was
missing.

It was 8:59, her curfew being 9:00
"Sorry, I gotta go!"
"Okay... but you forgot your shoe!"
