Once upon a time there lived a big bad wolf. He
would heartlessly swallow children he came across in the
woods creating an evil reputation for all wolves. The wolf
was hated by everyone and served many brutal years in
prison. After he was released from prison though, he
transformed into a loving creature. The wolf was
extremely guilty about his past and wished to make
friends. However, the other forest animals or children
passing through the forest feared the wolf and scampered
away at the sound of hello.

But one day, the determined wolf came across a
glowing little girl all dressed in red skipping through the
wood. The wolf slapped a smile on his rugged gray face and
gleefully exclaimed, “Hello little girl, where are you
travelling today?”
“I am bringing Grandma Red some freshly baked cakes,”
she grinned.
“Surely you intend to pick some of those magnificent
flowers, Little Red?” he asked pointing to lush vegetation.
“What a great idea, and you can call me Scarlett,” she
responded.

While Scarlett was distracted the wolf hurried up
the path to the Grandma’s quaint cottage. The wolf
planned to surprise Scarlett and her Grandma with a
batch of fresh cookies, yet when he entered the cottage
his stomach growled at the aroma of grandma. The wolf
crept past the sleeping old woman to start the cookies,
but his hunger overwhelmed him and the wolf
monstrously gobbled the frail woman. Soon the guilty wolf
rolled into bed falling into a light snooze.

He awoke abruptly at the sound of a squeaky little voice
calling, “Grandma Red, I am here!” The wolf couldn’t possibly
see Scarlett’s heart break when he explained the incident! He
hastily pulled on one of Grandma Red’s dresses and little glasses.
“O Grandma, what large ears you have,” cried Little Red sitting on
the bed.
“The better to hear you with,” replied the wolf.
“O Grandma, what huge eyes you have.”
“The better to see you with.”
“O Grandma, what big hands you have.”
“The better to hug you with.”
“O Grandma, what a massive mouth you have.”
“The better to eat you with!” And without a second thought the wolf
lunged toward Scarlett and gulped her down.
