Once upon a time, three evil fairies
put a princess named Aurora into an
indefinite sleep. The only way to wake
her was a kiss from a prince. Many
princes came by with hopes of waking
and marrying her.

The fairies became worried about a
prince getting into the castle, so they
devised a plan to ensure that wouldn't
happen. Using their magic, they
transformed an ogre into a prince.

He was sent to the castle with orders
to wake, marry, and kidnap her.
People watched in awe as the
disguised ogre was let into the
castle. Led into Princess Aurora's he
got his first glance at her. However,
her beauty did not phase him.

The ogre kneeled and kissed Princess
Aurora. Her eyes opened, she looked
up at the handsome prince staring
back down at her.

It was announced that Princess Aurora and the
mysterious prince were to be married, and
would go live in the prince's castle. Everyone
rejoiced, celebrating the princess's awakening
and her engagement. Princess Aurora was
dressed in a gorgeous white dress, her short
black hair encased in an angelic veil.
Everybody was stunned by her elegance and
beauty-everyone except for the ogre.

After the wedding, the princess and the
ogre rode off to what was supposedly his
castle. That, however, turned out to be a
cottage deep in the woods. Confused, she
looked at the ogre, but he merely smiled
deviously.

Suddenly the evil fairies burst through the
doors of the ogre's cottage. One of the
fairies waved her hand, and the
handsome prince was gone. In his place
stood an ugly ogre. Princess Aurora
screamed in horror.

Princess Aurora lived with the ogre in his
cottage for many years. Though she would
much rather be living in the royal castle, she
grew used to life with the ogre. Given food,
shelter, and water, she accepted the fact that
she was to live out her life there.
Eventually, Princess Aurora fell in love with
him
How could she not? He had done her no
wrong. He had only done what he was told.
That night, whilst he was preparing their
evening meal, she decided to tell him.

“I love you.” She said.
Silence.
That night, in an act of desperation, a
deadly poison was cooked into Princess
Aurora’s meal. And the princess was no
longer.
