Bridget wants a quiet life. including if possible, 

keeping her parents out of prison. 

Then a boy called Menzies makes her an offer that 

she can't refuse, and they st off on a job of their 

own.

It's a desperate, daring plan- to rescue two kids, 

Jamal and Bibi, from a desert detention centre.

Can Bridget and   Menzies pull off their very first 

jail break, or will they end up behind bars too?

Bridget was reading her letter from her brother in 

prison. Two bullies came in and started yelling "Whose 

got a note from mummy!? Lets see it." Bridget went to 

hide the paper, but the boys grabbed the end of the 

paper. "What's going on here!?" yelled the head 

master, as he walked into the classroom watching 

bridget and the boys fight. The head master demanded 

to see the paper bridget was holding. She wouldn't give 

it. Menzies took the paper and swapped it for a paper 

that somebody had written form a detention center. The 

head master read the note and thought Menzies was 

trying to make people fell sorry for detention center 

people. Bridget and the boys got a detention. Bridget 

skipped the last 10 minutes of detention to find Menzies 

and thank him for swapping the letters.

I wake up to hear dream voices and Uncle 

Grub. Uncle Grub was trying to sell a Russian 

blender to someone. Wait. Uncle Grub is really 

here. I jump across my room mates to peer 

out the window. There Uncle Grub is selling a 

blender. I run across the courtyard when Uncle 

Grub sees me and yells out "Hey bidgee." 

No..... i think. The teachers are going to arrive 

for breakfast. "Uncle Grub, what are you doing 

here?" 

" Just giving the teachers a present for looking 

after you!" says Uncle Grub thoughtfully
