As usual, Alp wanted to wish his mother "good night" before going to bed. His face was sullen. His mother noticed this and asked:
- What happened?
Mathematics and numbers are very complex. I can't understand why we need them!
His mother smiles:
-I think when you wake up in the morning, think all day and look around more carefully. I want you to notice and question the numbers around you. Let's talk again later.
-Okay, I'll try. Goodnight
-Goodnight

In the morning Alp woke up to the sound of the clock. He picked up the clock to silence it and looked at the numbers. The time and date are written. Yes, that way he knew when to go to school. He could count days, months, years. How would he count without numbers? While thinking, he heard his mother's voice. He quickly began to prepare to go to school.

Alp got ready and said goodbye to his mother and left the house. While waiting for the school bus, he looked at the vehicles around him. He studied the numbers on the plates. Finally, the service vehicle arrived and Alp knew the service number by heart. On the way to school, he carefully examined his surroundings and
"Numbers Are Everywhere," he said.

Alp got off the bus and started walking thoughtfully through the school yard.
He entered school. As he walked down the hall, he noticed the numbers on school boards and signs. By that time, he had already arrived in front of his class. He looked at the classroom door and there were numbers on it. He had never thought that there were so many numbers around him. He entered the classroom, there were numbers on the computer keyboard, on the boards on the wall, on the blackboard, everywhere.
Numbers came to the fore for Alp now, he needed to find more numbers. Alp started to feel like a numbers hunter. This excited him.

His first lessons were music. His teachers said that music and math are related.
Alpine was very surprised. How can it be? The teacher continued to explain.
He explained the beats of the notes and the length of the duration. He learned the symbols of the Alpine notes, their duration, the concept of measure and began to make combinations of measures suitable for the relationship between the notes. He was very surprised to see the numbers in the music. I think he was starting to like Mathematics.

Alp was eagerly waiting for the bell to ring, because he was very hungry. His mum had given him money to buy what he wanted from the school canteen.
Alp was very happy because today he was going to have his favorite breakfast, pizza.
When the bell rung, Alp got in the canteen line, but when it was time for him to buy a slice of pizza, the canteen lady told him:
-Alp, you can't buy pizza today. Your money are not enough. You can choose something else from the menu.
Alp didn't know the money well and thought sadly: "Oh! Numbers are everywhere, I must learn to use numbers-money."

After the lunch, Alp went back to the classroom. Teacher was talking about birthdays. Every student said their date of birth and they discovered that Alp will first celebrate his birthday in classroom, on the 21st of March.
They agreed to have a celebration with a cake and a gift that will be made for him by his classmates.
Alp was very happy. He couldn't wait for the 21st of March. And then a thought crossed his mind. Without numbers I wouldn't know when my birthday is.

When Alp came home, he saw that his mother was cooking meal for dinner. She was counting amount of rice"one glass-two glass " .Then she saw Alp was looking at her surprisingly. She asked "Oh my dear son;why are you looking so surprised?" He answered "Mom,you are counting while cooking!" They both laughed. "Yes, we add ingredients according to measure when preparing meals." Alp now understood that there isn't even meal if you don't know MATHS. Dinner was ready, whole family had dinner while talking about numbers everwhere in life.

After we had our dinner, we all sat in front of the TV. I picked up the remote and started looking at their numbers. Each number has a station. Oh, some numbers are more favorites because they have the stations I watch the most. NO. 6 has a drama with tom and jerry. Number 5 is music, number 1 is bang bang, number 2 is sports, number 3 is comedy... So many numbers, so many TV channels. Tonight we will watch comedy as a family and the winner is #3..
I went to my mother and told her about my adventure with numbers all day. I said they make our life easier. And I think I had a lot of fun exploring it, too. My mother was very happy. We hugged each other and looked forward to the adventures to come...

We come across numbers very often in our daily life. Our house has a door number. Our phone also has a number. There are numbers on the price tags of the things we buy from markets, greengrocers and shops. There are numbers on the clocks and calendars we look at to find out the time. Even the shoes we wear have numbers. Without numbers, our job would be very difficult! Alp, who is a number hunter, realized at the end of the adventure that numbers are everywhere in our lives. Do you want to be a number hunter too? Let's get started now!
With love..
