Once upon a time, there was a girl named Aruna. She lived in a little village in Sri Lanka. She was 25 and looking for her true love. Aruna always got rashes from stress due to her dad always telling her to get married. She went to the only doctor that was 7 miles away. Even though Dr. Nalin was known for giving the wrong medicine, Aruna went to him because he was the only one who was close to home. When she went in, there was a long line. She waited for 2 hours, and the rashes got worse due to the heat. When it was her turn, she told Dr. Nalin what was happening. He didn’t care and said, "Okay, here is the name of your medicine; it's called baby powder. Apply this powder on the rashes twice a day till you run out of it". By the time she left, it was 6 o’clock. It was already late, so Aruna had to walk to the pharmacy. She had three hours before the pharmacy closed. She walked as fast as she could to get there before it closed. She arrived in two hours and thirty minutes.

    Luckily, they were still open. The pharmacist named Saman was known for being nice and respectful. Aruna always thought he was cute, but there was no reason for her to go to the pharmacy, so she would just get a glance when she walked by. As she walked in, Saman realized that she was out of breath from walking so fast, He said, "Hello, ma’am, why don’t you sit down, and I can get you water. You seem like you are out of breath". Aruna stood there for two seconds before replying because her crush had spoken to her for the first time. "Oh, thank you so much; I was just afraid that you guys would be closed if I walked slowly". After taking a rest, she took out the slip that said Talcum. Saman took the slip and went to get the talcum powder. What he didn't know was that a few weeks earlier a new intern had come that worked for Dr.NAlin. who decided to change all the medicine with other toxins and poisons that looked identical to the real ones. Talcum was replaced with a toxin named strychnine.

After Saman gave Aruna the "baby powder," he asked her out. Aruna was so shocked that her crush had asked her out. The only word that could come out was "Yess". In her mind, it sounded sure, but when it came out, she sounded desperate. But that was beyond the point; now she had said yes, and they were going to meet tomorrow at a restaurant. As she left, all she could think about was what she would wear tomorrow. That night, she forgot to put the "baby powder" on.

Aruna's dream is finally coming true

    The next morning, she woke up a little late due to the pain of the stress rashes. She quickly took a shower and prayed. She then prepared food to eat and began eating. Soon it was time for her to go shopping and buy groceries, so she quickly went and got the veggies and meat. Then she went to her closet to see what she should wear. She wanted to wear something traditional. So, she chose the red sari that her mom wore for her first date with her dad. She put the "baby powder" on before the sari and left. The restaurant was 7 minutes away, so she walked. When she got there, Saman was waiting outside the restaurant.
