Out of the blue, Ewan ran as fast as a cheater  

straight down the windy, yellow brick path to get to 

school in time! Will he be able to get to school in 

time? He was five minutes away from school. He 

was just in time when the rusty, broken bell rang. 

About 1 and a half hours later it was brake time. 

School was right next to a forest were Ewan saw 

something in the gloomy shadows. Ewan said it 

was a unicorn, but nobody listened. All they could 

say and think was that he was CRAZY!!!

Ewan believed it was a magical unicorn.

School was over and Ewan ran home, 

chucking his super heavy bag on the floor. He 

got into his bright pink tracksuit, jumped on 

his super speedy BMX bike and rode to the 

forest near his boring school.That's where he 

saw it again! He was saying to himself that he 

was not going to be scared. He locked his bike 

up outside the forest and wandered into the 

deep dark forest. He ventured deeper into the 

forest. With no idea what will appear, all of a 

sudden he turned around he saw a flashing 

name (Katy). He though for for a minute. Was 

that what he saw at school?Ewan ran back to 

his bike and peddled home as fast as a cheetah!  

As soon as Ewan got home he searched 

(on google) images of things with flashing 

names on there backs.All google came up 

with was no results. Ewan thought to 

himself he might of been imagining the 

animal or had no body seen it. Ewan got his 

notepad and pen and drew a picture of the 

animal, while he was eating a bit of juicy  

watermelon, mouthwatering corn on the cob as 

well as a sweet blue berry muffin.

He had a little nap but it turned into a deep sleep! That's 

when Ewan had a dream of him seeing the animal again. 

It had a face and the flashing name was there it was 

Katy. He was write all the time. He finished sleeping, had 

his tea went back to bed and that's when the dream 

started again. He saw it again! But was it real? 

Ewan went back to school the next day,waiting for the 

beast to appear with James as well as Adam (they were 

his best friends). It was there for a second then it went 

again James shouted "it's there it's there" Everyone 

thought he was crazy aspect Adam and ewan because 

they saw it with there own eyes! That day he told his 

friends he would meet them outside the gloomy forest at 

4 o'clock ,so they rushed home, it was 10 to 4 ewan got 

changed and went to the forest that's were his friends 

were waiting. They ventured into the deep, dark forest 

were James said "what's that flashing name"? Ewan said 

that the unicorn. They all tiptoed around the colorful 

unicorn that's when it started to gallop off! The boys 

carefully followed it when they noticed what time it was 

they headed back, but the unicorn stopped them from 

passing. Was it trying to tell them something? Ewan whispered 

to the boys "why don't we say we will come to back tomorrow 

then we might be able to get past the beautiful

animal!",so Adam Said with a gulp "We will come back 

tomorrow" the animal let them pass! The boys went home had 

tea and went to bed. The next day the boys went straight to 

the lush, green forest because it was Saturday the boys had 

had a sleepover last night so they could go straight to the 

forest.There's were the animal awaited for the very tired boys! 

The magical Beast lead the through the misty forest all of a 

sudden Ewan was on his own. Adam and James had gone! 

Ewan said he was going to be strong he was with the creature. 

The creature all of a sudden spoke " Please stroke me I want 

to show you something!" 

Ewan spoke" were are my friends?" 

"They've already seen the thing and gone home come 

on" the animal whispered!

Ewan said yes, he stroked the creature he was in a 

different planet but acutely   he was just in a place he had 

never been before ( the place was all his imagination!) 

Nobody new what he could see was it a castle or a 

spooky house or even a mermaid.   But was the animal 

real?

All of a sudden Ewan was at home with the 

beast was watching over him. Was he at home? 

Yes yes he was at home! Ewan was relieved that 

he was at home. The animal was a unicorn and 

yes it did have a flashing name (the name was 

katy!) All the unicorn wanted was to be his friend. 

So the next day he took Katy to school. Katy now 

lives in Ewan's room. Were she can sleep in piece and 

as well as somewhere share all of her story's! Katy 

never felt left out again because she was with Ewan 

plus his friends. Katy made her own friends at school! 

Before they new it they were in high school! That's the 

day Katy fell in love with Ewan!
